Same here. I also have a 13PM. It also bothers me that I have several stutters from time to time. Does it happen to you?
Yes, it does actually.
It stutters quite often by:
1. swiping up in safari to see all of my open tabs,
2. going to camera, taking a photo and closing the camera,
3. going to messages app and tapping on "+" icon to open that new thingy (also I actually hate it, I send pictures from messages app quite often and I feel like it's slower now with ios17, the animation is just too slow for me, it should've been quicker and long tapping on the + icon works like half of the time which makes it even slower).

I've seen more and obviously these are not happening all the time, but quite often I'd say.

I also have seen a lot of stutters and lags while quickly multitasking, for example copying something in Safari, swiping on the bottom bar to the messages app, pasting there and then coming back to safari.

Exactly what happens to me. I was expecting something almost definitive with a "a" compilation of the beta, to wait until Tuesday!

Apple still working on new features but they totally forget about optimalization. Each year we can see new features but they building these features on already bugy software. I am not surprised that iOS 17 is stuttering like hell. This stutter issue started with iOS 15.

Agreed it doesn’t need anything else really just fix the software in the first place then add features

Hello! can anyone please help me check if you can change the color of the last clock in the last option in StandBy Mode? I used to be able to change the color but it stopped and now it stuck on the blue color and the option to change it has not returned since Beta 4 I think, it's a weird bug but Im not sure it's just me... so please help me out.

Gotta be honest, for me personally, the only new (useful?) feature is StandBy (even though AOD is not supported on my 13PM). I love how they made the buttons to turn off or snooze alarm so big, it's much easier to tap them even with closed eyes 🤷‍♂️

At some point they'll fix, at least I hope so, stutters but what I find pretty bizarre and unacceptable is the fact they left iOS 16 with buggy as hell lock screen and still didn't do anything with it on iOS 17

Now I’m curious. What’s it about iOS 16 Lock Screen that’s buggy? It worked as intended and apart from the so called “squared notifications” bug I don’t remember anything else being wrong with it.
And the only stutter I’m experiencing in 17 b7 is in the Notes app. Besides that everything else has been silky smooth on my 13P.

Just tried it and I can change the color. All different styles including the funky one. There is a white button on lower right corner when its in edit mode.

I just checked my TV folder on the Mac and it's not this causing the Synced Content. TV folder is only 524kb.
I have 4 movies on my phone which 3.18gb in size and that’s the only sync’ed content I have.

Thanks!!! I was able to, but it suddenly disappeared and the last one is stuck in blue.

Tried a reboot? Otherwise maybe "reset all settings" option may fix it. That is not too bad to do. Or if you can live with it beta 8 or RC most likely Tuesday could resolve it.

I’m on 16.6. I encountered the squared notifications bug in iOS16.2, but haven’t seen it since that version.

Two issues I have with the Lock Screen are:

1. When you have notifications in Notification Centre and scroll up on the Lock Screen so that you can see them, it’s not smooth - it’s invariably very choppy. Aaron Zollo shows this in many of his videos to report that it’s still not fixed. It’s not the end of the world of course, but you’d expect it to be smooth almost one year after iOS16 was officially released to the public and it’s clearly persisting into iOS17 from what I’ve read and watched.

2. When I have the Sleep Focus on, there are issues with notifications. When I wake up in the night and tap on the screen to see what time it is, sometimes someone will have sent me a message from WhatsApp (whilst Sleep Focus was active) and the actual notification shows on screen. However on another night, it won’t show the notification on screen, instead I see at the very bottom of the screen the words ‘1 notification’. I then have to scroll up to actually see the notification if I wanted to look at it there and then. My understanding with Sleep Focus is that it shouldn’t show the actual notifications so that it’s not a distraction if you did wake up and tap your screen to look at the time, it should just discreetly show ‘1 notification’ at the very bottom of the screen and hide them away. It’s a WhatsApp notification, so the same app. No changes to any settings either in app or the main iOS notification/lock screen settings, and on the same iOS version. It’s just random how it displays on the Sleep Focus lock screen.

Well, generally yes, it's not the end of the world, nevertheless it's irritaning anyway. I can't really understand why they can't finally get rid of it...
Pretty sure this bug is gonna be with us till .1, .2, .3 etc. releases or even maybe till iOS 18

My own experience with your first issue is that the scrolling of Lock Screen notifications on iOS 17 is quite smooth. As to your second issue, that would appropriately be raised in the corresponding iOS 16 forum.

Thanks, but I was really just answering OhMyMy’s question “What’s it about iOS 16 Lock Screen that’s buggy? It worked as intended and apart from the so called “squared notifications” bug I don’t remember anything else being wrong with it.” (Being on iOS16 still, I felt I was in a good position to answer.)

I’m seeing a lot of the same stutters/laga on an iPhone 14 Pro. Also get stutter when I unlock the phone.

One other annoying issues is with my AirPods Pro 2nd gen. The announce notifications is so loud it’s jarring. Looking forward to the next beta.
