Yes. But not always the same bugs.
Back in iOS 15 I did a complete reset and scratch install. Removed a number of apps. Still the bugs were there. Some went away. New ones surfaced. It helped for a little while then they started showing up again.

It isn't always the same bugs. Had a big issue with badges in 15 and 16. 17 was mostly free of them. Mostly.
The iMessage forwarding issue popped up during 16. It has changed a couple of times but persists.
Contacts issue seems to come and go. Pretty persistent with 17.

See my last post. I added a thread with some device setup info.

Drop me a DM with these bugs above with a touch more detail and I’ll test on my device 👍🏼

You do run an MDM, though right? As part of your testing, I’d do the full clean install that @Banglazed and @Pearsey recommend and run the devices without the MDM for awhile.

Mine was till this beta. :(

Mine still is, so that’s weird.

Exactly what I did on my 14Pro. Like you said, takes an evening but man it was satisfying at the end. And the phone ran so well.

I also do occasionally delete the iCloud back up in the cloud and do a fresh new back up.
I’ve had same before, back about 5 years ago, had an issue that had been persisting for couple years. Did a total clean install, no restoring and then all good. Since then, I’ve only really had the minor bugs, or some that resolved by RC, nothing as drastic as what some comments I’ve seen.

I have downloaded it a few days ago on my daily driver. It works fine. I only have some lag problems with the keyboard. And very often I have a connection to the WiFi and cellular but no internet connection. Only a soft reset helps.

I’ve done a network settings reset. I will look now.

When you said "scratch install", did you restore from iCloud/Finder backup after? I've only restore iCloud backup a few times but I've given up on that because I've experienced some issues, examples like notification badge, message notification banner showing number than contact name, missing contacts.

Whenever I get a new device, I restore the device to the latest/beta firmware (always use IPSW) before setting up the device as new without restoring any backup. I signed into iCloud so all the data should be resynced to the new device and reinstall only apps I frequently use or as needed. This does take times but I experienced less issues and it's a good way to declutter all the useless apps I may have installed over time.

Scratch install - I did a reset to factory and manually reinstalled apps. Nothing from a backup.
Pain but it did help for a while. It does allow you to determine if you need all the apps.

Not any more.
I moved my work stuff to a Thinkphone and removed the MDM from my iPhone.
Surprisingly didn't need MDM on that device :)

My biggest pains at the moment is the lack of Notifications between iPhone and Apple Watch and the issues between iPhone and iPad for iMessage.

So the location bug hasn’t reared its head in the last few days, but CarPlay Music has crashed twice.

Has anyone noticed, particularly in Facebook, that the keyboard stops responding?

Sometimes it’s that you can’t hold on space to move the cursor; it just won’t change lines or move to the first character in a line. Other times, you just straight up can’t type.

it’s almost 4pm and I’m at 32% with just 2h and 23min SOT… wow this beta is so bad in terms of battery life, never had that on my 13PM. I used to leave work with more than 70% battery left
Same here. I also have a 13PM. It also bothers me that I have several stutters from time to time. Does it happen to you?

Am quite upset that the video scrubbing ability is still crippled in the latest beta

Last time you just tap on the screen and drag left or right. The screen doesn’t dim too.

Now…
Step 1: tap on the screen (screen dims)
Step 2: tap on the long bar and hold
Step 3: drag left or right (in the latest beta, when scrubbing, the screen doesn’t dim)
Step 4: release your finger (screen dims again as it goes back to the screen in step 2 and you have to wait for it to fade off)

It is the screen dimming plus the additional steps that makes me upset.

In Ios16, it was super convenient, similar to how apps like infuse does it

@cigz

@makoru - where are you seeing a stutter. I'll take a look.

Haven't really used the phone at all today other than to do a quick call and check some settings.
After 10 hours:
Battery at 51%
0:23 SOT 0:01 Screen off
Phone 14m
Settings 6m
Find My - no reading but is 3rd on list
Home & Lock screen2m
Weather 1m
Camera 1m

That's it. Beta 6 was decent for me. Beta 7 no so much.

Time for a Hard Reboot or two and full charge. This is nuts.
I'm starting to think I have a hardware issue somewhere even though a trip to the AS a bit back showed all was good.

Synced Content - has anyone sussed out what this is?

several forum members have mentioned seeing this in their iphone storage and it taking up considerable space on their device. Mine takes up a hefty 19gb and am perplexed as to what this is for

In my case it is movies from iTunes I synced, as that is the only content that I sync. It also matches the amount as the TV app downloads says I have too under recommendations.

Maybe deleting your account, hard reboot, and re-adding might fix it?
If that fails perhaps delete your mail account(s) then delete the app, hard reboot, reinstall the app, and re-add accounts?
I actually tried that earlier today. It did nothing. Using iCloud email alone still doesn’t work.
VIP mail filtering is now effectively broken thanks to the latest BETA build.

Tested CarPlay earlier today and it worked perfectly. Waze, SiriusXm, Spotify and iHeart apps all worked exactly as expected. Same with phone calls and text messaging.

Is anyone else experiencing the clock app crashing when trying to change the sound of an alarm?

Edit: I tried change language and then it works again.

Thank you. How do I check the total of my TV app? I don't sync my films but am.wondering if I've done so accidently.

Get it reported. 👍🏼

Mine dims on play only.

Maybe turn find my off and on for those products to clean up the sync?!?

I just checked my TV folder on the Mac and it's not this causing the Synced Content. TV folder is only 524kb.
