After updating my iPhone, iPad, Watch, and AppleTV I no longer see the Beta option in the Software Update. Also don’t see it in HomeKit any longer. Any one else see the same thing after updating? Want to update my HomePods but can’t

I just noticed that it actually disappeared on my iPhone BEFORE even getting to update. It is just gone, with no way to sign in to my developer account or anything

You can run iOS 17 beta on your phone, but do not need to use watchOS 10 beta, correct? I've seen nothing but negative feedback on watchOS, and since you cannot revert back on the watches, I'd rather not take the risk installing it on my Ultra.

Same here, but I saw before updating a message in the beta menu saying that my id wasn’t linked to beta program and that I won’t be able to update later…

I was using the free dev account and never completed the process of registration by paying the fee, must be the reason…

I cannot even update my iPhone ... the option simply disappeared. Could not even log into my dev account anymore, even if I wanted to.

Somehow I lost access to iOS 17 betas !! First they showed up, then there was an error saying I was not enrolled to the betas ?! What?? And now the beta option is not showing at all!! I’ve tried everything.. what do I do ? 😬

It started to show on my phones and iPads again. If I wait on the update screen for about 30 seconds it shows.

Wait. Something server side is happening. beta.apple.com is also having issues

Beta 7 is a safe bet usually, every year I jump on beta train from beta 7 and never had any problems…and the more we reach final the more A builds appear so even if doesn’t mean anything special about the quality of the update , « A »seems to mean « almost final » anyway

The letter is a mastering counter. For this build it took all the way to 'a' build to get things configured to spit out a valid build. There is a complex web of project dependencies. The reason later betas have a mastering counter of 'a' or 'b' is because these builds are more stable with less project changes.

'a' doesn't mean almost final.
The number does when looking back historically how many betas there were year on year in a cycle.
Typically 7-9 then RC.
You can also use the release date and work backwards as a guide of what beta is near final.

I think I’ll wait an hour or something. Or update tomorrow. But something weird is happening …
My phone has already updated and rebooted. My watch is waiting to install, but then all of this started happening. The developer site says I am no longer registered and asks to enroll. beta.apple.com is slow to unresponsive for me as well.

It feels just like iOS 16 just installed for the first time and can’t even tell but looking and using it that it’s a new iOS version, that’s a shame; also speed and animation feel the same as iOS 16
Really? There are well over 350+ features compared to iOS 16. In addition, iOS 17 seems way more stable and refined compared to last year's iOS 16.

I'll take stability and performance over new half-baked features any day.

I think that’s actually a positive. iOS is a mature platform now, has most of what it needs really.

Just like macOS, iOS updates are no longer going to be so major as they just don’t need to be.

I quite like they current state - feels pretty solid and feature rich.
