I only fear what's going to happen when I download the public next mondayIn case anyone else has this issue. I finally got the 1 on settings to go away by turning automatic updates under software updates on and then off.

What bug? Can you demonstrate it?Notification center bug on Lockscreen still not fixed…
I don't get it, how can they not see and fix something so obvious that was already in iOS 16. It's a bug that everyone can see, how can something like this not be a priority! Can someone please explain it to me?
Some of these new ringtones and notification sounds are quite good.
I submitted a Feedback for this, hoping it is just a small bug and they allow all sync’ed tones to work for alerts too.Yes, I have quite a few custom ringtones synced and was able to use them before for ringtones or alert tones. iOS 17 only recognizes them as ringtones now, can’t access them for alerts.
Maybe they don’t want their own ringtones triggering the “Loud environment” notification.I settled upon mercury. The new alarm sounds are a curiously quiet.
These new haptics are wild. And loving the new ringtones.
Ok, got 'em. First rule of iOS beta is hard reboot. Done and voila, the ringtones magically appear.Yeah ringtones are dope.
Ringtone, alarm and text tones all changed. Can’t believe I’ve reintroduced an iMessage alert tone - it’s been on “none” for years.
Yep, same here. Though I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever for Apple to actually include some new ringtones and notification sounds and I honestly like most of the new entries so I guess I’ll take the good with the bad haha.Yes, I have quite a few custom ringtones synced and was able to use them before for ringtones or alert tones. iOS 17 only recognizes them as ringtones now, can’t access them for alerts.
I’ve also noticed that just previewing them; they are noticeably quieter at the same volume level than the others. But I do like them! So I guess I’ll just be bumping the volume up a little bit! 😛All the new ones seem very quiet too.
bad things I fearWhat do you think will happen?

Had some hope RC would fix the issue I’ve been having with iOS 17 where all 3rd party apps have been using a lot of data/cache from minimal use and fills up my storage quickly. This issue unfortunately is still present in RC. Not sure what else to do. Every few days I’m having to uninstall and then reinstall apps to clear data/cache specially ones like YouTube that fills up really quick from watching a few videos.
No other issues with iOS 17 besides this. I’ve never had this issue in any betas in the past with iOS 16 and prior. I installed iOS 17 around the 5th beta and then issue started immediately. Haven’t ran out of space but I’ve had to put photos and videos in an external USB because apps are using a lot of data/cache within a few days of normal use.Other than the high cache usage are you actually experiencing any issues? For example, are you getting out of storage warnings or are apps uninstalling to compensate?
A few years ago, the system storage was doing this. For most (but not all), this was “phantom” data and it had no impact on their phone usage. Some however tried that apps were being uninstalled by iOS to make room.

Did it out of caution. I take a lot of videos and fills up my storage mostly but now these apps are using more space. For example YouTube goes to over a gig of data/space with just watching a few videos. Before iOS 17, it would take weeks or more to reach 1gig. Same thing for apps like instagram, facebook etc specially if watching videos. But what prompted you to move the photos and videos onto external storage? Did you get a warning? Or did you do so out of an abundance of caution?

Only other option is to do a restore and clean install of iOS 17 to see if that fixes itMy suspicion is that you would have no issues and that the system is misreporting the status. But I can understand your desire to be cautious.
