I've seen this option prior the RC release, but can't tell how long the option is there
No, I haven’t been using any betas! But I am excited to try it. So if I haven’t, which one would be better to go to?
Go for Public.
And then the official release/build will be out Monday.
If things don't change, like an RC2, your phone will already have the official build on it.
So your phone wont see the Official release show up on your device as an update 👍🏼
People have a habit of cribbing about their woes in a way as if the whole world is familiar with what they’re going through. It probably isn’t even a bug, just some behaviour that is not to OP’s liking.
Anybody can do it from time to time, intentionally or not. You check your radar full screen and then close it and scroll to a different weather info.
For me it's a perfectly valid performance like note. No need to be rude about it.

The most awesome feature for me has been the shared iClown passwords. It was a nightmare managing passwords for my kid and my parents. Now everything is sorted into nice little groups and I can update their passwords remotely for them. Beautiful.

Is there a setting for enabling the photos face in standby mode anywhere? It’s showing on my SE but not on my 12 Pro Max
Now the waiting game begins to start seeing apps updated using the iOS 17 APIs with interactive Widgets and support for Standby. We usually start to see these land around the Friday after Xcode is released. This will be a big year for apps with these features.

The release next Monday will be the real deal (not another RC [hopefully]). Did you sign up for the beta program (public or developer)? If so, that’s why you’re seeing the RC now.
Regardless, if it’s there you can download it. You should not have any issues as that is the software that will likely be released on Monday
iOS 17 RC works perfect on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, it's smooth and fast but... battery drain is still pretty bad for me.
Nothing has changed with the RC release but I'll wait few days, maybe it'll fix itself somehow (but at this point I know it won't)

Just discovered an issue, I think.
Had the beta version yesterday, and in my truck (2020 Tundra) I can hold 'up' on the steering wheel control to fast forward through a song.
Updated to the RC earlier today...and now that doesn't work. Not a *huge* deal but it's an issue, and it's not my truck, and it's not the phone, so it's definitely an issue w/iOS itself. Will have to submit a bug fix.

Is anyone else having issues with Apple Music? My library is there but I tap on a song and it won’t play on any album. I’ve tried rebooting and reset network settings nothing has worked. I also turned off Sync Library, rebooted, and turned it back on and nothing. Any ideas?
