Thinking Tuesday for 17.1 but may get surprised today... The .1 update usually has some nice goodies, but I haven't heard or seen too many rumors about it this year.
Yeah it’s weird how iOS 17's lifecycle has just started and almost nothing about anything out there about 17.1 beta except for a few articles discussing features not implemented yet. This year continues to be really anyone’s guess to arrival or its basis. All focus is still discussing current iOS 17 releases.

I think 17.1 beta 1 is a lock for today

Feels like today or tomorrow for sure.

I wonder how many people are gonna jump on that got the new phones? After a whole summer on a beta I don’t think I want to put a beta on my 15, it already gets hot enough as is! Not to mention the battery life!🤔

I'm on the beta train since iOS17 dev beta 1 (but also on the other old iOS versions).
On Saturday I got the new 15Pro and now im impatiently waiting for iOS17.1 dev beta 1 to try it on my new phone.
Once you go dev beta, you never go back. 🤣 cannot imagine not spending hours reading the beta topics, and find new features/bugs together.

Same. The period between RC and new phone plus .1 beta 1 is really the only time in a year I'm not on the beta train lol

I think tomorrow, just cause the software release schedule this year has been all kinds of backwards. Seems right when we think they are going to, they don't and when we gave up, they do.

In the meantime, I'm going to ever so shamelessly plug my newest endeavor here. :):)
I recently launched a new tech blog and social presence.

Please check it out.

Tomorrow is a big update day, I think they will release Sonoma, and the first iOS 17.1 betas. And they will probably stop signing iOS 16.6.1 making downgrade impossible.

Please Apple, wait until tomorrow, I’m still restoring several devices while performing clean 16.6.1 installs…

Do you guys have any hope for sideloading in 17.1? Can't wait, hope they won't postpone it for the next spring :(.

Thats if Apple even bothers to give it to those of us in the US. Keep in mind currently on the EU is requiring them to do it. They have no compelling reason to release it in any other place currently.
Quite interesting how many EU-users will actually use this feature. I personally won't do that. 👀

All of these new post notifications and none of them say incoming beta......how disappointing.

And searching twitter is no use. Most of the planet says 17.1 is out, because they can't read that it is 17.0.1.
If I do a search of goggle news, there are maybe a couple articles, nothing more. It's like as I said earlier no one is discussing anything outside the pubic releases, certainly not iOS 7.1. There are multiple what's still expected in future IOS 17 releases though. Maybe if Apple is kind enough to release something today it would change. ;)
