Is the Notification-Center swipe-down lag also happens on 15 Pro modells as well?
After swiping between pages in the home screen, then swiping down to reach the notifications, it lags
Yep. Happening consistently on my 15 Pro Max. Hoping for 17.1 soon!

Wondering about the th
17.1 is slated to be out sometime in October. So within 5 weeks at most. I don’t think they’re going to schedule a 17.0.3 and we won’t see one unless there’s another zero day bug.
Based on iOS 16.1 was 40 days and iOS 15.1 was 38 days and next Tuesday is Sept 26. So the October prediction is beginning to look wishful. Especially if Apple adds either Journal app, collaborative playlists in Apple Music, or AirDrop over the internet to the feature set. Unless you think that 17.1 is just going to be a rush job to fix stuff for iOS 17.0.1/17.0.2.

Double tap was stated to come in October and I can't see that coming in a minor point release, it will be watchOS 10.1.

double tap is coming just for the new watches released this month, right?

In the form they demonstrated it during the keynote, yes. It’s available in a somewhat different form in current watches under the accessibility version. It is actually somewhat useful when you can’t use your order hand to press a button, for example.

yes, its very useful that;s why I asked. Hope we'll get it in the old series also

Do we expect an iOS 17.0.3 in the coming week or so? It seems like there are a lot of bugs being discovered now that iOS 17 and the new iPhones are out in the wild. It’s also a little strange that they currently have their devices on different firmwares - 17.0.2 for the iPhone 15s and 17.0.1 for all others.
A 17.0.3 could patch out some remaining bugs and bring back all currently supported devices to the same version number.
