Because its looking for a beta and there isn’t one. Means nothing wether one is coming soon or notyou cant see the new watch update if you have developer beta selected. maybe x.1 is coming real soon.
sounds like it's only for the new Iphone 1517.0.1 available
Public releases/updates are not detected if your running either dev or PC beta choice. There doesn't need to be an update it the RC became the public release. (same build). Yes a 17.1 beta is expected early next week.you cant see the new watch update if you have developer beta selected. maybe x.1 is coming real soon.
I have it on my ipad if i turn beta offsounds like it's only for the new Iphone 15
It's more specific to the new models. We have 17.1 beta coming next week, so this is akin to iOS version for the day.For all iPhones
is it okay to download?
Give us a reason why not. You should always update. Is this worth installing or wait for 17.1 beta
Actually I always ignore the pubic releases if I am on the beta selection. The next beta will usually encompass those security aspects as well as offer much more then a patch release even if I have to wait a few days more.Give us a reason why not. You should always update.
You can go for it, as when you set up the 15, it will prompt to download this update anyway. So if we have a new phone arriving tomorrow should we wait or not?
But you don't have a beta? "The beta will usually encompass those security aspects." It's up yo you, but I can see no reason not toActually I always ignore the pubic releases if I am on the beta selection. The software, which is build 21A340, can be downloaded on eligible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update. There is a separate iOS 17.0.2 update (build 21A350) that will be available for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models.
Most here are patient enough not to mix beta releases with public releases.* Of course you can, but I have never been impacted by a security vulnerability immediately. Some of these changes could be from months ago that are just getting implemented/patched. Hense waiting a few days for the 17.1 beta 1 is no big deal. But you don't have a beta? It's only available with all beta updates off.I'm confused - I'm on the dev beta and can't see the 0.1 update. Is it only for public/public beta?
