Today beta 4, next Tuesday RC, public I still think is Monday 11th, rather then as late as Wednesday the 13th. All the beta 3 OSes seem to be running well with my usage.
17.2 public release will be December 13th. From previous 15.2 and 16.2… 😁
It's still odd to have rumors from site analytics about there being 17.1.2 in the wild, while knowing 17.2 is coming so soon. You'd think if 17.1.2 was needed, it'd have been out already.
Thats why I think today for 17.1.2 and later this week for 17.2 b4
The 15.2 Dec 13 was a Monday, while the 16.2 Dec 13 was a Tuesday. Why is Apple compelled to use Dec 13 as late as Wednesday?
Analysis of Macrumors stats is not always accurate against bug fixes/patch. All of us have been wrong before.
16.2 b4 was released on a Thursday (12/1/22) 16 days after b3 (11/15, a Tuesday)
17.2 b3 was released on a Tuesday (11/14/23). I would look for b4 on Thursday (11/30/23).

Just got it OTA. Coming up as iOS 17.2 (no beta label) for me. I am on the developer beta.
edit: I am on an iPhone 15 Pro
edit 2: Also got it on my iPad Pro. On the iPad it says iPadOS 17.2 Beta 4 - 457 MB.

Now to decide on jumping to 17.2 or waiting to see if 17.1.2 is for real lol
I would wait and see what it brings. I rarely ever downgrade from a beta and beta 3 made me do so.
It could also be later today, if it's real indeed.
