I’m disappointed :/
So am I. They should have released an iOS 17.5 beta at least a week ago. Sure, some people disagree with me, but that would be “sticking to the schedule” because they already had beta releases scheduled. Obviously they chose not to release it like they normally would. Maybe they all decided to take a 2 week vacation. I don’t know. But it’s so bizarre to wait half a month or possibly more after a release to start beta testing the next one.

IMO I'm sick of the thursday releases if they are going to drop 17.4.1 just do it on monday or tuesday. I've got business to attend to with March Madness basketball and don't have time to do an update

The plot thickens:

1) New iPad announcement might be coming later than expected:

2) There is an “Imminent” U.S. Antitrust Lawsuit (a-la DMA in the EU) incoming:

Both of these could have interfered with the normal beta cycle, however the iPad announcement postponement is presented as the consequence of the iPadOS delay, rather than its cause.

I'm fine with 17.4.1 being next week but I'm going to say since mac rumors guaranteed it was this week then it is 100 percent coming today. I mean have they ever been wrong?

I don't see the word “delay” in what Gurman says:

I merely see the words “will not be complete”.

So, once again, I have to reiterate that this may be (and almost certainly is) all exactly on the schedule Apple set.

Don’t superimpose your own desires to have these new iOS versions deployed onto Apple’s own operational plans.

Ok so Thursday is a common release day so today is certainly high probability for release. For the iPadOS and new iPads secret feature claim, well they could set that up in iOS 17.4.2 or 17.5 or whenever IF there is even such a reason. If the rumor that 17.4.1 already exists with build number xxx is true then most likely there're gonna release is sooner rather than later. I'm going ahead rebooting and getting ready for todays release tho :)

Rebooting phone before update makes update better?
