Correct me if I’m wrong, but Apple hasn’t said anything about new features for iOS.
Which points at no 17.5. There will be 17.4.x thou.
Too early for them to stop working on iOS 17 there will be a 17.5

Apple doesn't disclose every single feature that they are planning to release. It's quite unlikely that we won't see 17.5 at all.Correct me if I’m wrong, but Apple hasn’t said anything about new features for iOS.

Apple usually releases new updates even when all of the “advertised at WWDC” features have already rolled out, generally for bug fixes and new features. They generally also include small tweaks to existing features, and sometimes even new bigger features as well. It would be extremely odd if Apple didn’t release an iOS 17.5, especially since it would be a wait all the way till September before iOS 18 becomes available to the public.Correct me if I’m wrong, but Apple hasn’t said anything about new features for iOS.

This wait for 17.5 has been absolutely devastating
Because of the MacOS patch yesterday the earliest I expect is 2 days later, so perhaps Wednesday or Thursday. The Easter event this weekend shouldn’t impair seeding. Its not like previous years where we had a seed then waited 2 weeks for another beta in April after Easter. Complications such as further EU changes should be most resolved unless a 17.4.2 patch is warranted. The longer it takes to kick off still means left out features could appear. No way can they release 17.5 after releasing the press release on WWDC today. A mom and pop op can only do so much in day people.
Something fairly big could come. The release of iPadOS 16.5 was also accompanied by the release of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro on the iPad. Maybe 17.5 will bring some decent improvements, especially considering that we’re only about halfway through the iOS 17.5 release cycle. Why is it devastating? Are you expecting something big?
I hate to break it to ya, but I'm pretty sure 17.5 will be more of a "maintenance update", and most likely won't see beta 1 until next week. My guess is Tuesday.I really hope we get 17.5 this week. If we get stuck waiting another week, and then it’s a puny update with hardly anything new, that would really stink. I’m hopeful that 17.5 might add a few new things, since 17.4 was so uneventful.

This wait is kinda brutal, but at least we got 17.4.1. 🫠 Happy Easter, everyone! I know it’s early but I work retail so y’know everything’s early lol
I know that, but they were introduced alongside iOS 16.5.Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro are stand alone apps.
So people knoware we now going to get an emergency new update for this phising attack? Or is it not happening to that many users
