I think 5 min to 17.5 normally for me it’s 6pm in the uk but I’m in Florida on holiday so it’s strange having it at 1pm

Yes you were right on the money. So the public release of 17.5 is the same build as RC so no need to update the iPhone 15 Pro today. What about WatchOS, is the final release of 10.5 the same build as RC 2? (21T576)Told you so.

iOS/iPadOS 17.x keeps seeing incremental updates until about the time iOS 18 goes public. Yes could be a 17.6, 17.7 maybe another before it goes into just the occasional patch route as needs for the next 2 years.

IMHO you won't see much in the way of minor parches until IOS 18 is announced. Instead there will likely be at least a iOS 17.6 shortly with a iOS 17.7 after that towards Sept. Perhaps Tuesday or Wednesday this week possibly?
Until the iOS 18 AI hype becomes reality don't place all your money on just one number. 🤣

In all seriousness, iOS 17 is now feature complete and anything more will be in the nature of bug fixes and security updates only.
We are 4 weeks from WWDC and I’m sure all hands are on deck to get the beast that iOS 18 appears to be out the door.
