Why? If it does, it’s for a good reason.
I agree with you on that. Hopefully the latest RC doesn't have any major bug or flaw that would require an RC2 just for the sake of not having to go through yet another round of upgrade across all the devices (iPhone, Watch, etc)

With the event now in the rearview mirror and the release date for the new iPads being Wednesday, May 15, I'll go out on a limb and say that we'll see 17.5 final on Monday at the usual time, with a minor chance of it slipping to Tuesday.

At that point, I am more or less going to leave iOS 17 speculation behind, as I really don't care about a 17.6.

All eyes on June 10 at 3pm Eastern!

We might see a new build of 17.5 at release.

I'll stay the course with Monday for iOS/iPadOS/tvOS 17.5, MacOS 14.5, Watch 10.5. Vision 1.2 beta 5 show its isn't ready for next week. :)
You think macOS 14.5 will come out on Monday as well along with iOS 17.5? The fact the MacOS RC came out 2-3 days after the iOS 17.5 RC has me worried that the MacOS update might be delayed and wont come out on Monday

How accurate have their predictions been to date? Is iOS 17.5 still coming out tomorrow since there is a revised build number?
Probably, either tomorrow Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

I doubt Apple releases a RC2 just for this newer build. See? That’s why I preferred to wait until the official launch of 17.5 aside from not wanting to mess with installing beta profiles and such. Waiting a week wasn’t a big deal.

Yes i hear you. It means that the newer build will be the final release that will be released to the public which means all of us that upgraded to the RC of iOS 17.5 will need to update to the newer final build.

We now longer have to install beta profiles. It’s all linked to Apple ID. We can set Dev, public betas at will through the update options. Much simpler nowadays.

Wow, that’s much better. Do you know if you can easily un-enroll from the program? Because I still get the beta options and I don’t want them:

Although it doesn’t bother me as long as they aren’t downloaded into my iPhone.

Hoping for a well polished RC2
Do you think we'll see it tomorrow or on Tuesday? its honestly got to be either tomorrow or tuesday as the new ipads come out on Wednsday and they will most likely be coming preloaded with the new OS

Actually my understanding is that they will come even 17.4.1 installed. But I’m sure we’ll see 17.5 on Monday or Tuesday.
