Funny that makes most iOS public patches you highly desire to be rushed insignificant right?17.6 is so small there is really no rush imo

Probably most of the consumers out there. Even if there are a number of us that dabble with the earliest betas we all know they aren't suitable yet for most people until it gets closer to public release.Who cares about 17.6, when in 3 weeks iSO 18 will be HERE!
Also if I had an XR or 11 I may not be certain that ios17 isn't my final version.Probably most of the consumers out there. Even if there are a number of us that dabble with the earliest betas we all know they aren't suitable yet for most people until it gets closer to public release.
In all the years I’ve had the early beta’s on mine only once I had to do a full restore coz it boot looped. Most issues are liveable for 2 weeks until the next buildProbably most of the consumers out there. Think it was iOS 16 that resulted in just a boot loopIf there was going to be a year that might break your streak, this is likely going to be it.
I hope to be pleasantly surprised. But I also would not be surprised if this is a year where there could be significant issues in the first 2-3 developer betas.
We’ll have a good sense of whether that’s likely if Apple gives a warning like it did for the iOS 13 betas.
I was referring to the following, particularly the comment about “thrill seekers”: https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/...ate-download-now-how-to-warning-a8998491.htmlThink it was iOS 16 that resulted in just a boot loop
The more, the better! Slowly but surely the world awakens... 👍The digital markets law has passed in the UK. Meaning all the changes made for the EU will need to come here too.
We will definitely see an iOS 17.6. It’s still nearly half a year before the first public release versions of iOS 18.Looking like not today. Could be we may not see 17.6 at all.
Only for this week, but it will diffidently start soon, and no reason why it shouldn't.Looking like not today. Could be we may not see 17.6 at all.

They usually release betas on Tuesdays or Thursdays!! Monday and Friday is difficult although it may be, but it is difficult for them to launch betasRemember, federal holiday in the US so no update today

I join your feeling and respect for all the people who died on duty!!! 🫡It is Memorial Day, where we commemorate those who fell in service of our nation as well the other nations the United States liberated in two world wars.
Today Or tomorrow seems like a good chance for iOS 17.6 beta. Not like is a waste to use it while waiting for opinions of the first iOS 18 AI preview beta on the 10th.We’re less than 2 weeks from iOS 18 Beta 1, so I may just say “screw it” and grab iOS 17.6 Beta 1 if it comes out this week. Why not.
