That's true, I remember battery percentage was one of those things last year.
I don't know about redesigned Control Center though, I figure Apple would've made a point to show that at WWDC like they did with tvOS's redesigned CC.
Honestly, maybe I am the only person, who doesn't want control center to be redesigned. It looks nice and works perfect as well. I'd only want to get some more customisation options and that would be enough.
This has been posted several times already but the interval has been 14-16 days for some time now. Nothing is constant with Apple but the best guess is that it will be this week at some point. Today being a holiday is new so that may add a day or two to the process.
14-17 days for every iOS x.0 beta 2, apart from iPhoneOS 3.0 beta 2, which was 3 weeks.
So, 99% chance it’s this week.
I’m going with Wednesday, but Tuesday would be nice.
I've had zero issues with beta 1, so i don't really know if i want a new beta 
it has been before! Although I’d thoroughly enjoy being surprised, I’m still thinking it’ll be next week.
I don’t mind being “that guy” in this case. Beta 1 of a new OS is always “good” feeling and runs fine. Has to be. There’s a lot of pressure to get things right the first time. Then beta 3-4 bring the bugs… how many years in a row does this happen? 😂
I can’t find my original post, but I’m pretty sure I speculated beta 2 this Wednesday, June 21 and then public beta next Thursday the 29th?
Usually dev beta 4 lines up with public beta 1
Honestly, the main reason I would be interested in a Control Center redesign would be if it added functionality. I think the current Control Center is just fine, so I’m not going to be upset if it doesn’t get changed this update cycle.
Last year was Beta 3, with iOS 15 i think it was Beta 2 but was released as a public beta a week after the developer one.
Rude much? Just because someone doesn’t care for one specific change to a system, doesn’t mean they’re opposed to anything new, lol! 😂🤣. Typical take I hear from Android people when they want to change some fundamental thing about iOS to be more like Android, and they get some pushback from iOS fans.
I'm on board with this with the caveat that I think its 50/50 on Tuesday vs Wednesday this week for Dev beta 2.
Ya, that seems to me like something they would have announced at the WWDC 2023 keynote, or on the preview page, but perhaps not? I guess it’s possible, we’ve seen new features that weren’t announced added to updates before, and perhaps this year is even more likely for that since pretty much everything that was advertised is already available in the first update. I wouldn’t be too surprised if Apple got tired of people complaining in all the write-ups about all of the features not being available in the first version, so decided to only cover what they knew they could deliver with the first update. I’m sure we may see some small-ish new changes and features that weren’t announced. But I’m not sure something as big as a redesigned Control Center would be coming without being announced, that seems like it could be a bit of a stretch.
