18.2 dowloaded fine over cell..... no image playground etc etc..... Connected to WIFI when i got to work. went into AI and Siri and clicked on "waiting list" started downloading and now says Apple intelligence preparing. Its been on this page now for about 2 hours,,,,,, nothing.🤷♂️

Definitely very flaky battery on this one on my 16 Pro. Going back down to the RC. That seemed a lot better. I have it on my M4 iPad, so when they do open up playground, I think I will experiment there but this is a tough one with the current battery drains I'm encountering.
Shocking I know, but I suspect there are a few here that aren't really developers...
WEEKS?!? Apple needs to put the Developers enrollment fee back. Too many people.
Face ID is still dog 💩 on this build. Ugh. I dunno what they did but it's gotten so bad on the last 3 builds that I'm half tempted to go back to my SE. Adding an alternate appearance made a slight improvement but I'm still putting in my code at least every 3rd unlock.
This was just posted a few hours ago in the Feedback Assistant. So yes, they really are rolling this out over weeks.
I’ve been using the 18.2 beta for just over a day. I do like the new mail app. The categories seem to be working well for me. The fact you can group by sender helps to make it easier for me to manage emails.
It’s been working for me since I updated using the IPSW. I’ve not noticed any deleted emails returning.
I set badges to all unread email as that makes more sense to me. I use the small notification dots to identify the categories that have new mail. Would be better if the dots were based on unread emails. Once you view a category the dots disappears even when you have not read or deleted the emails. I’ve raised feedback on this issue.
Looking forward to see how mail evolves during the beta cycle.
