Thanks… just remembered that! Back to region UK. Hopefully the alarm goes off at the right time!
Make sure you have set automatic time and time zone.

Quick question… clocks go back here in the UK at 2am. My region is set to United States for Apple Intelligence purposes. Will my iPhone still auto change the time? Got to be up in the morning!
Just change your region back to U.K. now. We have Apple intelligence on this beta too.

by far the worst battery i’ve gotten in years on a beta release - 16PM
My 16 Pro Max’s battery life has been quite good this beta, but I am a digital minimalist in many ways. Always in Low Power Mode away from home, Airplane Mode always enabled unless I actively need to use my phone (except at home I leave just WiFi [calling] on), no keyboard haptics, Reduce Motion/Reduce Transparency/High Contrast/Cross-Fade Transitions quadruple-check…oh, and no Apple Intelligence or Siri/Suggestions/Dictation anything enabled. I have Siri & Apple Intelligence as well as Search toggles fully disabled for every possible app and Background App Refresh is switched to WiFi-only.

iCloud backup via cellular off, WiFi Assist off, all analytics disabled (yeah, yeah, sorry ‘bout it [not really]), “Help Apple Improve Search” obviously disabled, and Enhanced Visual Search off in Photos.

I also don’t use the always-on display or StandBy, for what it may be worth, and I try to keep all third-party apps off my device—preferring to use websites in Safari instead—unless they have a clear non-collection privacy label in the App Store. Speaking of Safari, I use Wipr 2 (still in beta but releasing first half of November I believe) as my content blocker of choice—it is absolutely excellent.

And, finally, here are my Location Services pages if anyone happens to be curious. Maps routing and anything else I normally use works just fine with this configuration. “Product Improvement” toggles are switched off in System Services.

is anyone else still waiting for Image Playground, etc.?
All joking aside most of us do not have it yet from forum threads here, and on Appleseed I am finding that 3/4’s or more of us still do not have it. Seems random to me as well. Some got right away, most have not and how some folks who were several days late into it got it recently. From some of what I read it seemed at least several were developers with live apps and such vs some of us developers who currently do not have live apps and such with apple. But I cannot prove that for sure and it may just be random

Yes to be clear: I was joking. No sign of it here. But I suspect we’ll have it reasonably soon

I’m a level 8 in feedback, still no image generation. I have been on cellular so maybe it’s WiFi dependent, it still says “access requested” in apple intelligence in settings

You could do better with system services switches more to 0.

Can one search for a copy of an image on their device if they already have a screen shot of it ? I have a screen shot of an iCloud Photos upload transfer showing a thumbnail, but want to see if it's in my iCloud storage as I don't have any meta data for it available. thanks.

I think the time comes from the mobile provider your phone is connected to. Otherwise when you travel overseas, your time would remain as it is in your home location.

Works on your location. If you turn that setting off in settings > privacy & security > location services > system services for date and time your clock stays as is. When it’s on, the time changes according to the GPS.

Does anyone in the UK have access to the new features yet?

If you do have access, have you configured your language choices to the US or UK English?

Does anyone in the US not have access?
I have access to all new features in the UK but I need to keep US region and language to get it.
