It isn’t a bug in the Mail app, just a feature Google doesn’t support with the GMail app. 👍🏻
I may be from Missouri and Missouri may be pretty backwards... but I can assure you that my wife and mother are different people.
There are also issues with Notifications, sound and badges. Multiple reports in Feedback.
I just would like to know how to turn off this annoying AF feature where devices reboot after 3 days idle. End of the world, no. Ridiculous a device has to keep playing catch up on messages once I unlock it and becomes a stuttery mess all for a feature Apple hid and no way of disabling is bogus.
The concept is novel if you want it, but I don't on some devices and it needs to have a disable feature. Do better apple.

Firstly, I'd like to say that I'm fully aware that I'm on a beta version of iOS 18.2 and that, as such, there will almost certainly be bugs. But I do hope this particular scenario gets better with the final release.
Try it. Tell Siri, "Ask ChatGPT how much is 1/7 + 1/3."
She consults with ChatGPT for a couple of seconds, and she does give you the correct answer, but she fails to expand the formatting codes into normal language. See my screenshot immediately below. She even reads the codes out loud. "The sum of frac 1, 7 plus frac 1, 3..." she says. Which sounds somewhere between funny and ridiculous.
Then, launch the ChatGPT app and ask the same question. Whether you ask via "standard" or "Advanced Voice Mode," you get a human-understandable response.

Actually it’s not. The original poster was asking what bugs were affecting Mail in addition to the Google push issue (which you correctly identified as not an Apple issue)
You’re right, for some reason I thought he had just asked about GMail bugs with Mail, but he asked about the bugs in the Mail app in general. 👍🏻
For Mail, aside from the issues I have with notifications and badges - including watch notifications, Mail is pretty useless unless I have to set to List.
However the biggest problem I find is that the number of emails (same accounts) on my MBP is not the same as my iPhone for the same date.
Hopefully as this beta progresses, these details are “fixed”.

SIRI ChatGPT Image Creations
When I first got the beta and used SIRI to draw a picture with ChatGPT the picture would show in the ChatGPT app when I tapped ChatGPT on the bottom left of the picture. Now the picture no longer shows in the ChatGPT app when doing this. It only shows what I said to SIRI to create the picture. No picture. Has anyone experienced this?

PSA for those who had the issue where it was stuck on "Apple Intelligence is downloading" since installing beta 3: I had to open the Feedback app, redo my login, the restart the phone. After that, it worked fine.
