The searching with the camera control button thing never works for me. The animation happens but that’s it. It’s worked maybe twice.
I went from 18.1 public/stable to 18.2 beta 3 and honestly it’s been fine I haven’t really had many issues.
I am no sure if this is a beta 3 thing or not, but just recently started happening. When I record video, it seems to lag or something at some point. I noticed this when I edit it in Final Cut where there is a black section. When I play the video separately on my Mac or iPhone, there seems to be a slight lag, but not a black section. I wonder what I can do to troubleshoot?

Had anyone else found that Siri is way stupider? I just asked it to text a friend, and it responded (and wouldn't stop responding) with "There are 15 matches. Which should I use?"
I'm having small issues like this too but on 18.1 so it might just be a general AppStore thing not related to the beta.

No. I wasn’t off WiFi, I was just mentioning it because sometimes intelligence items don’t refresh or update when not on WiFi.
That’s utterly ridiculous! I don’t have WiFi at home - only a second old iPhone with personal hotspot for installing Apple Intelligence. So you guys say it won’t work on 4G/5G at all? The hell Apple was thinking - I mean ChatGPT, Gemini etc works well without WiFi !
My iCloud email was not syncing properly across devices (messages showing as unread, etc on all devices), that changed yesterday afternoon (NZT), I wonder if they did some backend iCloud change to support 18.2 mail? Now it's all syncing beautifully, like it did with 18.1 and prior.
My Gmail sync was working fine on 18.2 beta 2 and 3, it was just iCloud that was affected.

Who said it doesn’t work with WiFi? You need WiFi to download the required files from Apple for the feature to work but it’s just a once only time deal.
