Some additional issues with B3. iPhone 15 ProMax and iPad Pro 11 M4.

Mail on the iPhone is still broken. List works a bit better but the numbers are whacked unless I do a manual refresh.
On both devices when I wake them up I frequently see that stupid Siri edge glow.
AirPods Pro 2 - set for Noise Cancellation which seems to fade in and out at times while in use.
Not sure if this is an app issue (Hiya) or an OS issue - phone numbers marked as scam/nuisance/private, even though marked as Blocked are still showing up in the Phone/Recents list. It is acting as if it is set to “Warn Me” instead of “Block”.
Some features in Safari, this site is one, will trigger the word select pop-up menu instead of the actual selected function (see below). In the example I selected “Unordered List” and this is what pops up.

These are all new for beta 3.

Spell check is very broken.
Siri is still dumb as a stump.
Random background sounds will trigger the Siri Glow on both devices.

Apple generally doesn’t like large downloads over cellular networks. They’ve eased up on that a bit over the years, but I’m sure it’s not their preference.
Yeah I know, but personal hotspot should help me out I think?

It used to be the way to go. For some reason, I recall that they may have closed that option off, though. But give it a try. Elsewise, just find an Internet cafe or other hot spot and download it there. Only need to do it once.

It does not need to be charged at same time right?

If not I could download in the subway station near to my home

More problems discovered. Google home crashes. Ir runs fine on iPad OS 18.2 ß3, so I can control my HVAC, but not on iPhone.

If you are below 50% on iOS you do. Good luck!

I don’t think that is true anymore. I updated to this last beta over cellular and at 36% charge. It updated right after download. I was walking to and then sitting in a Broadway theatre, so I know that I wasn’t connected to either WiFi or power.

Left as feedback, whenever I activate Siri & open the image playground (got granted access today) my 15PM starts heating up with quicker battery drain. Turned Apple intelligence off for now.

Interesting. I had not noticed that. Though I’m rarely below 50% and usually not at the time of day the betas drop.

“Update Finishing in Background “ still showing after 3 days from B3 install. Never seen it take this long previously.

Edit: Now extended to 4 days.
