Acknowledged. Now, did they? The final step of the update is to give the updated Mint carrier bundle with included RCS settings to Apple for them to add in their next iOS update. So is it there? They said in September it would take until "at least December."

Carrier profile updates can ship OTA without being tied to an iOS update. There is at least one case, that I know of, where a carrier held back RCS functionality on purpose up until an OTA carrier profile updates a few hours after the public 18.0 release (wasn‘t included in the final release, shipped OTA).

Unsure but I think I remember reading somewhere that Mint changed their timeframe from December to mid 2025, due to the complexity of the rollout.

I just requested "poodle" instead of "dog" (or my own fluffy dog), and it did better.

My daughter figured out that using “cocker spaniel poodle mix” did the same rather than using “cockapoo” (which is weird since “cockapoo” has been used for a long time).

But my problem was that it didn’t properly use a photo of said cockapoo (who strongly resembles the picture in your post). So it may be a vision problem.

To be fair all generative AI I have used is unable to do this.

Typically the first beta is two weeks. But for the holidays, that would put us at December 30. My guess is the next beta drops on 1/7 (the Tuesday after New Year’s Day). So that’s only 8 days longer than “normal”.

Try going to Settings-->Accessibility-->Voice Control and make sure that is off. It turned itself on for some people during the early 18.0 betas. Drains a lot of battery.

Has anyone with an iPhone 16 noticed if the vertical line screen glitches have been fixed in 18.3? Getting kind of old after 3 months of no improvements... I'm on 18.2 and still see the glitches.

Yep backed up , erased iPad back to 18.2 = sound , DFU mode 18.3 no sound or video playback iPad 7th
