If you use it with fragmented small usage, that’s pretty much what I get on my 16.My 16p is just sub par. No way else to say it.

Yes. I’m either being scammed by Apple or this battery is faulty.Wow already that high cycle count of charges??? Wow!
I would check with Apple and go to Apple Store.Yes. I’m either being scammed by Apple or this battery is faulty.
Maybe bring it to an Apple Store? Exchange it ? First reinstall 18.1 don’t forget that.

defo worked for me... not sure why or how... but it did. Now 2 days since charged to 80% and I am 42% battery... albeit with little usage. Idle drain in particular is reduced. One piece of advice that has worked for me in the past is to do a Reset Network Settings. It’s helped me with battery life before.
Much much better than my 14 Pro with same use 👇👇👇It’s terrible right? What ridiculous, my battery is worse when I use it less.
That’s your 14 Pro battery life? Or which one?

Sometimes I wonder if it's linked to my iCloud account but I made multiple tests…. It’s very difficult to investigate sneaky battery behaviour.
Yeah this is a real problem. I have been thinking it might be an iCloud problem as well. Have you ruled that out?
make sure you add your WiFi networks back and change your device name (for some reason reset network settings also resets the device name to iPhone).just reseted my network settings on my 15 pro (1os 18.1), hopefully the battery life is better.
noticed that, cheers. Thanks !make sure you add your WiFi networks back and change your device name (for some reason reset network settings also resets the device name to iPhone).
Looks like sync your photos to icloudHey all. Anyone seeing absurd use in the background for the photos app? Killing my battery….
Hi. Yes that is set. Should I not have that option in place? I want my photos to sync with my other Apple devicesLooks like sync your photos to icloud
I have the same experience. It’s quite frustrating to not be able to pin down the cause. Sporadic usage of the phone seems to result in worse drain than constant or no use.Not completely because some tests show that my iPhone consumes as much as another and others test doesn’t.
If I let my device on YouTube continuously, it consumes normally. But if I use it with fragmented usage, it seems that it consumes a little more than others.

What kind of SOT are you getting? Do you use AOD?
great.my time has come 🙂🤨didn't you find any bugs lags or something ?I haven’t updated to iOS 18.2 beta yet as I don’t want to ruin the great battery life I’m getting with my 15PM on 18.1!
7-8hrs SOT with around 20% remaining by bedtime and then back onto the charger. Best battery life out of all the iOS 18 releases.
