Yh the original b4 the revised one is much better but it still dropping out with no signal for a few seconds
Same thing that I’ve been experiencing. But what’s crazy is I turned off dark mode, and I have Noir enabled for my Safari, I turned that off as well and now all of a sudden it seems like my phone is OK. So I don’t know if it has to do with dark mode or if it has to do with just Safari itself and Noir enabled, I don’t know. 🤷♂️
I suspect it’s because the Notes version on those other platforms do not yet support iOS 18. Should resolve itself after the public release in September.

I'm getting this too. Any time I switch apps they respring, very annoying.
All is well for me, except the little dismissal X in the top right corner most places is stubborn. I have to tap it several times to dismiss anything.
Here's an obscure bug they fixed. They added a new settings entry "iCloud" near the bottom of the list which duplicates the iCloud settings in the main "Your Name" section.
I keep my "Your Name" settings protected and grayed-out with Screen Time account restrictions. The new settings entry originally bypassed this, but in beta 4.1 the new settings is now grayed-out too.

This is still happening in beta 4.5 🤪. After going back into the calculator app a few times it starts working properly
hard restarts does not fix it ..

So it is very rare, but Apple does every once in a while release a beta labeled feature, even in the public release.
Going off of Apple‘s wording, plus the fact that in the latest Developer beta, if you open the “Siri” section in the settings it says “ apple Intelligence and Siri” in the menu, it does appear that there might be some apple intelligence features released as a beta for all users in 18.0
However, they will more than likely have to be manually enabled until the day Apple is comfortable removing the “Beta” tag.
My guess is that it will be labeled a “Beta” at least until 19.0. Maybe, maybe 18.4 or 18.5 but I think that’s a bit soon.
You could be right, AI just seems like a lot bigger deal than the battery. Beta may be what they do in the full release. Just seems so much bigger than to do that.Far from a first.

Indeed, it does seem like a big deal, until you remember that it’s restricted to the iPhone 15 Pro series and the upcoming 16 series.
The vast majority of users won’t be able to use this for a long time, so it makes sense that they would be more comfortable, calling it a “Beta” that you need the newest and most expensive devices to access.
Maybe so, would be vastly different approach from Apple. We shall see though. I think it’s coming to the beta here soon.
I am also not sure the 15 pros will get the full feature list of AI when it finally comes out of beta. Maybe not even the 16s. I think it will not make a true release until 2025, and the 17 will be the real “AI” iPhone.

Anybody else has this problem? With Waze after the latest beta update, you can not report anymore via CarPlay or choose a different route. All the input functions except entering the destination from the CarPlay unit are not available( when clicking on it nothing happens). Have reinstalled the app multiple times.
You can always restore it to iOS 17, just make a backup of your DB4 iPhone first in case they replace it for you and you need to get everything back.
