The distraction blocker is both classic Apple magic and also more powerful than they make out.

If you visit a webpage often it remains cached which means that blocked elements stay that way for some time; they don't just disappear when you do. You can also use it to bypass a few webpage restrictions, for example if you're browsing Instagram whilst logged out after a few scrolls down a big window appears asking you to log in. Well not anymore! You can also use it to bypass those 'you can only read this article if you register/subscribe' pop-ups as well.

I love it!

I used Hide Distraction to remove the Accept/reject cookies page that UK amd EU have suffered for some time. Unfortunately takes slightly longer than tapping Accept. I wish it could be automatically applied!

Anyone having Find My problems?

In the people section, some people show and some don't (no location found), but their widgets on my home screen show where they are.

I’m using an iPhone 15 ProMax and developer beta, however when I check beta 5 does not appear for installation. I even installed the profile with no luck.

Just jumped on iOS 18 with public beta 3 on my 15 Pro Max. Straight away this feels better than 17.6 with animations and speed! Loving the customisation.

Is it only me or Contacts app (opened via Spotlight) does not allow anymore to add a Birthday date without a year ( “- - - -“ option)? Smells like a bug.

I can set it, but after few seconds it’s resettled back to no birthday.

I can set Birthday date with a year and it’s saved but after setting to said “no year” it removes Birthday day.

Edit; it’s only when opened contact via Spotlight and edited it as in attached video… so it’s a bug. Via Contacts app it works flawlessly.

I had issues yesterday.. my other half messaged me saying "my location is just spinning and not updating". So I had to stop sharing and re-share.

Yeah I had that problem too. Had to stop sharing location with one person and re-start sharing. From then on it worked for everyone else as well

Very impressed with this beta. Was at the land of the mouse yesterday and took my charger expecting to charge during the day. Performance was fine and battery did extremely well only draining 50-60%.

Agree, very smooth and not warm experience on 11Pro as well. Way better battery life
