I set my phone to charge to 100% which unlike charge to 80%, does a charge and hold. I then left the phone charge overnight. This appears to have allowed the background tasks to complete as the setup message in the battery screen went away.
Setting to 80% apparently doesn’t allow enough actually charging time to complete the background tasks, so if the setup message won’t go away try changing to 100% overnight.

I suspect that ever that poster is referring to is the build that downloaded to replace the build that was put on the phone when it was shipped.
I still have it today. 13 Pro. My phone charges, optimized to 100% daily. Installed 18 on day one🤷🏻♂️has anyone said anything about it in the battery place saying a set up is going on in your background of your phone. Just got the message after I charged my phone, can this effect or harm my phone or is it a useless message?

So how’s everyone’s battery life on the 16 pros on 18.0? I ran the beta on my 14PM before getting the 16 pro, and battery life on the RC was terrible. Drain with nothing happening on the phone. Same seems to be happening on my 16 pro. Funny enough the version that was loaded on the phone was better than the this build number that it was updated to right after setting up the phone.
Was really hoping watchOS would see some more love before the official release, but nope.. It's been bad. What time is it? Who knows! Time is irrelevant.
I am sure you couldn’t do that in iOS 17 either - it was never possible to just rearrange them I think, I could be wrong though
I´m sure. I have a big widget on lockscreen that I only use for half of the month (about apple fitness challenges). Once I have reached my goal, I change it to two small widgets. They were added on the right side of the screen, but I´m used to have it left. So I rearrange them. Did that the whole year 2024.

I’m still surprised you’re allowed to dismiss all notifications on the Lock Screen without unlocking the phone.
Anyone else’s stickers in iMessage completely disappear? When I try to create a new sticker, it disappears as well. iPad stickers work just fine. iPhone 16pro here.

I have noticed a strange bug, the "Downloads" category says that I have the "Favorites" playlist downloaded, but I don't have any downloaded songs.

I like the new setting to require Face ID to unlock individual apps, however...I'm finding it annoying that this affects the behavior of notifications on lockscreen etc. There is already a setting to only show the detail of such notifications when unlocked, but enabling Face ID for an app seems to override it, so that there is no way to quickly view the detail of a notification. Am I missing a setting or is this by design?
I had this problem on my 15 PM with iOS17 and it's not been fixed on iOS18. But, yes, stickers works perfectly on my iPad Mini on the previous and current iPadOS, but none of the stickers transfer over to my iPhone.
I've reported this to Apple twice now using the feedback function.
