I really hope we get a new 18.1 beta on Wednesday. I put in a shift change so that I can be in my apartment and can get it immediately. (we are not allowed to be on our phones at work except in the bathroom or break room)
I guess it’s not completely out of the question a new beta this week as Apple has released visionOS 2 beta 9.

yep how does apple trade in work for iphones? I see the trade in option so when i buy my iphone 16 and do trade in i dont have to send my old iphone in first to receive the 16 correct? Otherwise i dont wanna do trade in option

In the UK, your new phone will arrive, then you have 14 days to send in your old phone or your dads credit card is charged the full amount.
Im using my own cc lol! I just wasn't sure since i always did this directly with verizon! I guess both do it the same
The 18.1 beta has been on a two-week cycle, so will probably continue with that...
Just think about it: do you think they want you with no phone to use for several days?
This is not a normal year for iOS’s betas. Since iOS 18.0 is coming next week, it’s quite possible we see iOS 18.1 beta 4 today or tomorrow.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with 18.1 regardless. Will they switch to a 1 week cycle this week? Or will we get nothing until WWDC?
Another possibility, but maybe they will release 18.0 and 18.1 at the same time and make 18.1 an optional upgrade while Apple Intelligence is in beta?

I’m giving it a35% chance of a one week turnaround (with the next beta today). More likely beta 4 next week and weekly thereafter.
But this one is so unusual, I’m really just spitballing.
If you search online no one is really discussing iOS 18.1 beta 4. Very quiet this week. Calm before the storm you know.
Then again it could be today or tomorrow for 18.1 beta 4 given that iOS 18.0 is released Monday. (RC is released Monday).
