I call B.S. on this.... probably an iphone hater that used an extreme example..... There are plenty of videos online showing Apple's version doing a better job while samsung looks horrible in some instances..... Easy to cherry pick one where Apple's was worse and run to post it online... I could do the same with Samsung.

Yes, exactly. You can cherry pick any bad example from one and good example from another to make it seem like the one is awful and the other is great. 👍🏻

MrWhoseTheBoss actually stated that Samsung is doing better with the eraser feature… and yeah, you are correct we could stumble across examples where Apple has done a better job.

But it’s all about consistency… because cherry picking doesn’t make one better than the other. But I use the cleaner feature on the iPad and I do think Samsung does it better when I use it on the Fold. However, I like how Apple put more thought into how they implemented it (with the auto-selection).

Ultimately, it’s not a big deal… I’m pleased that I have the opportunity to use it on both platforms.

I just got an S25 for work so I may play around with it a bit. I am by no means a fanboy of either platform tbh and I can certainly appreciate certain features on both... Like there are things I wish the iphone had from Samsung... and it irks me that Apple refuses to implement the simplest things sometimes.... But at the end of the day I am deeply entrenched in to the apple ecosystem with all my friends and family having iphones.... and I also do appreciate the smoothness and simplicity.... But if I were to make my perfect dream phone and mobile OS, it would definitely be a combination of both.

The hand is in a totally different position. I highly doubt that this is reliable.
It's because he took the picture twice. He took it with the Samsung and cleaned it up, and then took it with the iPhone and cleaned it up. But yeah, he should have just sent the photo to the other device and cleaned up the exact same photo to avoid that inconsistency.

When you see examples like this and think they're fake, you can always download the photo and try it out for yourself.

This is what I get on the first pass.

This is what I get when I try to remove the void.

I don’t know who MrWhoseTheBoss is, and I don’t just take whatever any of these people say as fact when it’s simply their subjective opinion. I’m glad that some people like Android, I am not one of those people.

Furthermore, there are many things that affect the results you get with these tools. It’s not very easy to compare either of these because sometimes these tools will get really good results, and others it won’t depending on the photo, and a whole bunch of other factors at play.

I like to form my own opinion as well… I was only pointed out that a very popular content creator mentioned that Samsung is better, because @bigjnyc made it seem as if it was some random iPhone hater with these thoughts.

I don’t think it’s that difficult to test… take a photo on each device and see how they perform with removing some object/person out of it.

Anywho, I’m hoping we see the beta today… I’ve been waiting to see the slightly revised mail app on the iPad.
