Yeah, and it looks like Mark Gurman got it wrong yet again when he claimed those features were being delayed and move to iOS 18.5.

I think one thing a lot of people forget myself included is that these are developer betas. They’re meant mainly for developers to test new APIs and make code changes.

With this fact and the idea that most of the Siri on screen awareness APIs are already available in prior iOS 18 versions, the main blob of changes are Apple related which don’t necessarily need a long “public” beta period. They will test most of their changes internally but we just get to see them in prerelease as a side effect of running betas.

New Apple intelligence languages for example… not really something Apple need developers to provide feedback on.
