I think Apple would lose time on feedback and still have so many people on PB1. If they release PB2 today then it makes more sense (in my little head!) 🙂Regarding the Public Beta 2, at this point I guess we might get an updated DB4 build on Monday-Tuesday, 29-30 June, which will also become the PB2 on the same day. Then a week later we could be getting DB5, basically repeating the pattern of DB3/PB1.
That seems dumb to release a "re-release of beta 4" instead of rolling out the next beta (and fixing any issues they had with beta 4).Regarding the Public Beta 2, at this point I guess we might get an updated DB4 build on Monday-Tuesday, 29-30 June, which will also become the PB2 on the same day. How many times have they released 2 revised betas in one cycle? But they already did it with the revised beta 3 - so why this is dumb?
Someone posted this in another forum and said it’s a new agreement between the EU and America for AI.
If that’s true maybe we get the full Apple Intelligence experience in Europe too.

If it’s not, tell me and I will delete the URL!

I understand that. But currently they are in the week releases, so why not just put put DB5 AND public beta 2 (with the fixes that they clearly arent happy with in the current betas).Yet this is exactly what happened with DB3.
How is it clear they aren’t happy with anything? Assuming a lot of facts not in evidence here.I understand that. But currently they are in the week releases, so why not just put put DB5 AND public beta 2 (with the fixes that they clearly arent happy with in the current betas).
Why would they release every other beta except for IOS other than they found some issues they don't like? If none of the public betas were released this week I would get it, but that's not the case. How is it clear they aren’t happy with anything? Assuming a lot of facts not in evidence here.
Maybe for IOS, but the other public betas came this week (after the developer beta)Seems like Apple is moving to a tick tock cycle when it comes to the iOS betas, with developer coming one week and public the next.
PB2 for MacOS 15, WatchOS10, and TVOS18 all went out Tuesday. But its iOS 18, IPadOS 18, VisionOS 2 that haven't yet. Some more could happen this afternoon. Because TVOS went out its interesting the other didn't?Maybe for IOS, but the other public betas came this week (after the developer beta)
Last year with iOS 17.How many times have they released 2 revised betas in one cycle?
Which is specifically why I said iOS...Maybe for IOS, but the other public betas came this week (after the developer beta)
I'm banking on Monday.it would have happened by now. I guess nothing today then
I'm banking on Monday.
I bet you’re right, but I bet on monday with public beta 2I think we’re already on the weekly beta cycle, because there’s a lot to test. The features that need to be shown in September need to be added asap and iterated upon. The rest of the beta feature set is pretty solid IMO. So, beta 5 on Tuesday is my bet.
They almost certainly will not release a public beta on a Friday.I think Apple would lose time on feedback and still have so many people on PB1. If they release PB2 today then it makes more sense (in my little head!) 🙂
