I would say they will do that eventually at some point- right now everyone waits for the first company to charge for its ai features - no one wants to be the first, but someone will at some point, and if that has started, I think Apple will do charge for that too.
I don’t think it’s so much no one wants to be first but that almost no one would pay for AI

Yeah, same here, I will definitely be installing the beta when it drops! 👍🏻
I won’t, my battery has gone down so badly on my previous iPhone and did even got damaged by I believe beta software - I couldn’t use it anymore without having it on wired cable loading all the time (13 Pro) - so my one year old 15 PM has to wait until September this year (sadly)

Take it with a grain of salt, of course.

He sounds particularly enthusiastic at the end of the video, as if he really knows something that we don’t :)

Smh I also have a feeling Apple won’t disappoint and we are gonna forget iOS7 era as if it was just a nightmare.

It will boost new iPhone sales for sure and may even become the highest iPhone sales number in many years

Here is an example of what I mean.

Hey everyone! It would be nice if Split View for iPhones would have existed. I hope it’s announced at WWDC this year.

Speaking of accessibility features, which one would you love to see in iOS 26? My Apple-fan friend also mentioned that it would be great if iPadOS could allow us to change the cursor dpi for Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse users on iPads, and if Mac apps could be supported on m series iPads.

Are you ready for WWDC on Monday? I’ll still have finals and graduation that week, but I’ll make sure to grab the beta after the keynote! Let’s go, Apple!

I still don’t get it why Apple would call them OS26 instead of OS25. I understand the car analogy bit, yet not many people get a new car every year, whereas OSs change year after year, so 25 would be more logical, IMO.
Because in September 2025 the 2026 consumers products are being marketed. If their business cycle started earlier in the year yes it would be more up for debate. ;)

Yeah, I know many sources are reporting 26, and it probably will be that, but one interesting thing I noticed is that the initial official graphics for WWDC25 use the frosted glass aesthetic for only the 25, perhaps that’s a subtle hint at the version number change (and it being 25)? Prior years’ graphics used the same style for both the WWDC and the year part. If they just wanted to hint at the frosted glass aesthetic, they could (and have) do so with the ring around the lettering, or all of the lettering. So I don’t know that’s really conclusive evidence or anything, but it is interesting to note. 👍🏻. That’s one reason I’m staying open to all possibilities: whether it be called 19, 25, 26, or something else altogether.

What I’m really interested in seeing in terms of the naming convention is whether or not Apple will utilize a minimalist landscape wallpaper like they have for macOS on all of the OSes. They could all use different parts of a scene, and when combined together in Apple’s promo graphics, show a full landscape. That would be pretty cool, not sure if it will happen, but it would be pretty cool if it does! 👍🏻. And maybe they could all share the Tahoe name?

By the time it goes out to general public we’d be less than two weeks from fiscal year 26. So it makes sense name it 26 and not 25.

It will still be four months until the end of 2025, though. Take Samsung, they also put their numbers by the release years and the current S line are S25.

Actually, corporations will pay for AI. That will be the core market for a few years. Big companies are all over it, I hear them daily.
