While your appreciation for bugs is commendable, it’d help if you explained it a little more.
The duplicate icons ?

Opening messages app, opens the app slightly scrolled down - making it hard to select your pinned contacts

I don't have this, but underneath my three pinned contacts I only have two message threads. I'm assuming you have enough to fill the screen.

(I mainly use WhatsApp with friends.)

EDIT: When I backed out of a pinned chat, I got this bug too.

I’ve got at least 6 bug reports in Feedback stating “Possible solution found - for a future OS release”. Hopefully they’ll be included in the next update as the bugs is still present in DB5.

That part was evident.

What were you doing when that happened?
Did it happen by itself?
Was it reproducible?

Nothing I just opened the phone and yes happened by itself.
I’ve not deleted them to see if reproducible And yes it’s been sent to them.

So there does still seem to be a small stutter with tinted icons, but it’s not a deal breaker like it was for betas 2-4.

And it’s not even consistent, either.

Not a bug in 27 at least. You can do the same thing in 26. From what I remember this was added in 18 (or earlier) when they added the pages being able to be turned on and off along with focuses. This way you can set up multiple pages with different layouts. Ex. personal vs work.
Was this meant for me? I only have the one page setup

There's a new bug in DB5 whereby long-pressing an app icon in the App Library will dump a copy of that icon in a home page - sometimes a new one.

There's also a bug (which Apple calls "working as designed") whereby dragging an icon from the Siri Search window will silently delete any duplicate of that icon, whichever home page it might be in.

So it's basically a mess with different Apple teams seemingly not know what they should be doing or how it should work. Duplicate icons are very useful when one uses Focus modes to switch home pages.

So,QuarterSwede - yes, duplicate icons are a feature but the bug posted above is a bug.
