Ugh just downloaded the new Beta and they still haven't fixed Google Searching on Spotlight. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Hope this is fixed for final release and I'm going to report it.

That’s exactly why I don’t risk it. Especially since the betas some time ago with buggy Hermés “detection” that made the Watch app and the watch itself crash.

I’ve certainly backed up and archived my phone before beginning the install. I left the technician life nearly 10 years ago.

Is it me, or do timers in the Clock app constantly keep defaulting to “Stop Playing” instead of whatever tone you set? I don’t personably use timers, but I do notice that every time I look at that setting, it’s reverted back to “Stop Playing” instead of the default “Radial” tone.

I think it’s unintuitive that you can swipe down on the Home Screen to open Siri but swiping upward (either empty space between icons or the lower edge of Siri interface) doesn’t close Siri away.

so, am I the only one with a problem in the favourites on iPhone where first position of the favourite contact does not react on any touch or tap? even when you move it up or down the first position simply is unresponsive? Can anybody check on their phones.

Tested with Classic and Unified and both worked fine. 17PM

Nothing more than normal 5G. It just handles traffic better that’s all.

I have deleted/uninstalled Image Playground 3x so far. Keeps coming back. Is this what they are resorting too? Shoving AI slop down our throats??? 😡

Same exact issue with Files and hiding iCloud Drive from the item list (has been an issue for years. YEARS). After a min or two, it comes right back. Fully expecting OS28 to have immutable 30s iCloud ad spots whenever you unlock your device. If you subscribe, then the ads move to upgrading your iCloud tier.

If you’re using an external keyboard like my Magic Keyboard, the onscreen keyboard won’t stay up. I’ve had to detach my iPad as I can’t type into a text field on this and many other sites. Detached from the MKB, the onscreen keyboard works without any issues.

Same, using an Apple Magic Keyboard with my iPad Pro M4 11" Very frustrating. Feedback sent.

Wait can you explain the use case again? Why do you need the onscreen keyboard to be shown if you use the Magic Keyboard? I thought those can never work at the same time...

I gotta say, this beta release has been marvelous in terms of cleaning up the aesthetically obvious bugs, but battery life and heat have been noticeably worse on my 17 Pro.

EDIT: Heating happens when playing podcasts/music, both on Bluetooth and phone speaker. Battery life manifesting as overall drain with screen time.

Just wait till the Spotlight indexing is complete. It can inexplicably take days now. iPadOS27 beta 1 took 3 days on my M4 Pro. They got better but as I am typing this, it's still going on my iPad, well over a day later of installing beta 5. Wait till Spotlight indexing is fully complete before going down the battery life rabbit hole!

You probably don’t have pinned contacts.

I have three pinned contacts and I’m not experiencing this bug however I CAN reproduce it if I go into a pinned conversation and then back out. 16PM.

I’m also not seeing the duplicate icons bug from the App Library for some reason. Long pressing gives me the usual menu, continue to hold down and then I can drag it to whichever Home Screen I want it on or press the minus button to remove it. (Is that the bug or are the icons automatically popping up on your home screens when you long press?)
