Surely already mentioned in here:

- Able to hide/put Newsstand in an folder (without the hack)
- Read All support for Mail (its such a PITA to go into Mail on my Mac to "read all")
- Ability to change FaceTime ringtone (this annoys me so much!)
- Improvements to Siri (turn off Wifi, launch programs, etc.)
- Long shot (maybe for iOS6), but have widgets on the lock screen (Weather, Timer, Stopwatch).

-More Notification center widgets
-Ability to hide Newsstand without any extra hacks
-Ability to set an alternate default browser (I.E. Atomic)

That last one will probably never happen, but I want it anyway.

- Multitouch Gestures for iPhone
- Safari Extensions/Adblock
- Siri Improvements
- Speed Improvements
- Turn off Diagnostic & Usage Data
- Turn off Multitasking
- Turn off Spotlight
- Add files from Skydrive to photos/videos/music app
- Update to an iOS beta without a computer
- Developing for iOS on iOS
- Unjailbreakable

Why would you want iOS to be "unjailbreakable"?

The jailbreak exploits can also be used for malware, OpenSSH is a big security risk and we will have less piracy.

Perhaps. But that also means that people won't be able to customize their iDevices. Nor will they be able to install apps which Apple does not approve of. The only options will be to either stick to an older version of iOS, eventually being unable to download the latest App store apps, or switch to a different product, abandoning all their existing apps in the process.

Well I have a saying: anything made by human hand can be unmade by human hand. In other words jailbreaking can never be stopped.

- Turn off Multitasking

This doesn't really make sense. iOS will only "multitask" for 10 minutes if an application asks for it, otherwise all apps are suspended and not running.

All apps aren't suspended. Words with freinds ignores any such request. Try it, switch off all notifications except app badge, get someone to play you and shut it down completely. Then watch the numbers appear as people play you. It's still asking for data. It can't be stopped. So how many other apps that don't have a badge are doing the same?

Actually what you have witnessed is simply a push notification. A message sent from their servers to Apple's servers, then forwarded to your device. The app itself is not running.

I turned off all push notifications in the app and in settings. So I'd have to disagree and say the app is running. It can't be stopped.

Apple has made it very clear as to what apps can and can't do in the background. You must have missed something.

Indeed.

Any claim to the contrary is simply nonsense.

Apple hasn't just made it clear - they simply haven't provided a way for Apps to run in the background beyond 10 minutes.

Install it yourself and try what I posted. Don't take my word for it.

I don't need to.

Turning everything off except "App Badge" will still leave Push Notifications enabled - you just wont get a pop up or banner to tell you.

The notification will simply increment the badge count.

That makes sense. But it's not how I read it. I thought the badge icon merely showed the contents of the folder. Same as messages, missed phone calls, email etc.

I don't care about the others but I hope they get it right with the freaking music player. Its killing me so bad  I mean, I sync songs so slow and my nano is 3x faster  Then play counts are messed up. It has its good and bad days.. The good days when it will update and the bad when it will NOT update. That just one thing I'm asking from Apple since I use my iPod touch mainlgy for music and I'm already regretting it. I should've gone with a classic :(

I thought just came to mind...
As we all know the main reason Apple has implemented "multitasking" the way that they have was to avoid excessive battery drain. But of course that's not an issue when your device is plugged in. So then why not relax some of the restrictions while it is? Like giving apps more than ten minutes to finish their tasks. And perhaps even letting them make pre-scheduled downloads when you're not using it.

Ability to change ALL app alert sounds. Sick of fb twitter and games all having the default alert sound. Apple made progress with custom text sounds don't stop there apple!

Mute all other sounds except alerts when playing music. Damn annoying playing words with freinds.
