I want to be able to save animated gif's from safari and imessage them to friends. It kinda works now, but not really...

A organization system on my camera roll would be nice as well. I got 900 pics. I don't want to have to scroll thru all 900 to find the one I want to text.

Better notification of calendar events..like a way to acknowledge (must click ok for notification to go away)..also with option to reschedule/defer right from notification.

Some iOS developments I'd like to see:

1. A better way to organize apps.

2. Fonts! We need the ability to add fonts (among other things) in order to really use these devices for content creation.

3. Some way for multiple apps to access the same file we might be working on.

Badge notification icon for Reminders... I don't usually do or want to do the things I'm reminded to do right away, so I need something annoying like the badge icon to be there.

This. Really baffling that this wasn't implemented to begin with.

Also remove all open pages with one click in safari on iphone

Not one click but you can go to Settings --> Safari --> Enable/Disable Private Browsing Mode --> Close all Tabs

Why do you care what a parent does with their own children?

While I don't support parents snooping around devices (mine certainly didn't), but this type of thinking is why 90% of kids today are ********s.

I care because the poorly taught children will grow up to be terrible and therefore affect the life of properly raised children.

And you base your statement on what ?

iPhone to (non) iPhone bluetooth transfer, is what he said he said.

Yes, that would be very useful - ability to transfer files between iPhones and another phone - something I used to do frequently.

Another reason why BT iPhone transfer to PC would be useful - people aren't always attached to WIFI or simply isn't possible to attach your iPhone to the same WIFI connection as your PC ( i.e., 5GHz 'N' ), or office environment, creating an adhoc WIFI network may be not convenient nor possible. Bluebooth is low power, and can be quite fast >= BT 3.0

Usable for what? There is already iPhone to iPhone Bluetooth. It's used by peer-to-peer games. I'm not sure WHY you would want Bluetooth to your computer over WiFi, WiFi is so much faster you will complete syncing so much faster you would use less battery syncing over WiFi than you would over Bluetooth.

I'd like to see: The ability to add ringtones and other tones on the iPhone itself without having to go via iTunes. iPhone still is not PC independent.

I wouldn't mind some sort of "document stream" for documents I create on my mac/iPad/iPhone to show up on the other ones once I'm done editing. Like photo stream, but with documents. The drag and drop implementation we currently have is good, but a stream would be so much better...

This exists but only between iOS devices.

I'd like to see biteSMS, SBSettings and My3G features without needing to jailbreak.

For those not familiar with the tweaks above...

biteSMS provides the best messaging experience I've ever used. biteSMS

SBSettings lets you quickly access your most frequently used toggles without navigating through the Settings app, kill all processes and even take apps (including the stock ones) off your home screen and in a hidden away SBSettings dock.

My3G tricks apps into thinking wifi is connected. This allows for higher quality video streaming, no file size limitation in iTunes/App stores using 3G, and more...depending on the app and it's features. This one would have to get carrier approval which probably wouldn't go over very well.

I second this one, I have the same problem, too many pic and basically one continuous page with the latest ones at the very bottom! Makes for a larger effort on the scrolling front to get to the end of the page

This doesn't work on the latest iOS 5.1 beta.

Well, I'll be staying on 5.0.1 then ... mainly because I see nothing of any note that makes me want to rush into upgrading to 5.1, and I'm not jailbroken either.

I'll upgrade if there's any new features, but other than that ... I'm fine on 5.0.1! :D
