I don't understand why Apple didn't make FaceTime Audio the default to take precedent over regular cell calls. The way it should be like how iMessages takes precedent over text messages.

Phone numbers are now unified with Apple ID's so FaceTime Audio SHOULD take precedent.

Reteaching how to better place calls to parents is tough especially when FaceTime Audio is so much better quality and free long distance!

No operator revenue = no operators = no phone network = no iPhone.

iOS 7 drains my battery a lot faster than 6.
Time since last full charge:
Usuage : 4 hours, 57 Minutes
Standby: 7 hours, 21 Minutes

only 3% left. hmmm not too bad though.

Also, has anybody noticed that all the iPhones on the apple iOS 7 page are all white. whats wrong with black?

I wish I had the same success. My iPhone 5 on iOS 7 went from 75% to 28% in 2 hours today WITHOUT me touching it. Also, I turned off LTE beforehand. I was in class. I took the phone out of my pocket and it was hot as if it was laying in the sun. This was an extreme loss of battery.

I don't know how this could have happened. I turned off location and background processes to see if that will help. I know this is a beta, but I never had such an extreme loss of battery like this. Has this happened to anyone else running iOS 7?

In 2 years there will be just one flat iphone plan per carrier.

This is NOT the time for clever puns; the flat police will be after your blood, and arrest you in their rounded, glossy squad car which has faux leather flooring and fake leopard skin dashboard! :p :p

You were warned... lol.

The lock screen will now tell you the remaining snooze time.

It relies too much on the data connection quality I guess. But that could be set as an option.

Got my first "seamless" app update, nice!

Other than that did you notice that when bringing the command center up, the "background" app brightness goes down? Another nice attention to details.

Gosh! That app store icon looks a bit funky - is that a new design? :p

My phone has more voice minutes than I know what to do with but not enough data. I certainly do not want it to default to FaceTime unless I'm on wifi. And even then, unless it can seamlessly transfer to a phone call when leaving wifi, I'd want to be asked first.

I apologize if this has already been posted, but you can increase the legibility of the text by going to Settings > General > Accessibility > Enhance Text Legibility.

With this option turned on, the text will be bolded slightly. I have attached pics with it off and on.

We have a new thing called "Switch Control" on Accessibility settings. It looks very complex, I didn't get anything.

Edit: Well, don't play too much with it, I had to reset my phone :D. Apparently it helps you to select items by detecting your head movements or your voice. It couldn't detect my head :D!

I just used the navigation of Maps, and I am not quite sure of how I like it. It's basically a white screen with lines.

Awesome feature that I stumbled upon. Send a video to your Apple TV over AirPlay and then back out with the home button. You have full functionality of the phone while the video continues to play on Apple TV!

I think the reason why people are so concerned about iOS 7 is that in the past, Apple has been very stubborn about listening to the user community when it comes to adding new features or fixing issues.

A good example is fixing full screen app multiple monitor support on OS X. People were LIVID that multiple monitor support broke with full screen apps under Lion... yet it was not fixed under Mountain Lion, not even slightly.

Only now are they finally fixing it, two long years after they horribly mis-implemented it.

Who's to say some of the issues with iOS 7 won't be fixed for a long time, if ever?

I hope the fixing of full screen apps on multiple monitors and the addition of the quick settings panel are proof that Apple is starting to listen to the user community more. We're so used to them being stubborn "our way or the highway!" that it's hard to believe they might change.

Notes

I assume there's only one usable font within the notes app now or am I mistaken?

Apologies if this has been asked before.

Nothing that dramatic, but battery life does seem to be less. I'm sure it will be optimized more as we get closer to the final release.

if you go to your music and select a song, there is a "create" button under the volume slider that allows you to create a station on Radio from that song or artist. I think that's pretty useful. Dont know if it was brought up.

It's FaceTime Audio (no video). It shouldn't use that much data.

The reason why this would be so helpful and seamless is for old relatives overseas. I don't want to teach aunts, uncles, and parents how to "properly" call me to no longer incur long distance charges. Also FaceTime Audio uses HD Voice so quality is crystal clear.

Apple really should make FaceTime Audio as default and as seamless like iMessage over SMS.

Don't know if this was already posted, but Siri can now open some specific sections in Settings. For example, "open location services" or "show me my privacy settings" ... Others, like Mail settings, etc don't work. Anyway, kinda cool
