I like this new screenshot widget a developer posted called ScreenShare. :D

I was really hoping that Music Launcher would work as nice as this. I especially like the ability to star stuff to keep in the feature section.

That looks great, but I have a question. I prefer not to have any of my iTunes Match music downloaded on my phone. I prefer to stream it instead. Will I still be able to use this widget?

**Update** it does work with iTunes Match and may end up being on of my favorite apps ever. Since I have a music collection full of over 12,000 songs on iTunes Match, it's hell to scroll through the music app to find the album I want sometimes. This just solved my problem.

So glad you figured that out! :D I did try it with my iTunes purchases and it worked, but wasn't entirely sure about Match stuff. Cool!

Yeah, I know how that goes. You can use Spotlight, you can search within the music app, or you can use playlists, but most of us just scroll anyway. :p

Exactly. To me, this app is a complete game changer on how I will use my phone for listening to albums. Probably the most tedious chore will be marking an album as a favorite after adding it to my music collection because I'll still have to scroll through the widget to add it, but at least I'll only need to do that once, and now I can dedicate my playlists to be just that!

Found this new app called The Note. It could use some refinements, but it's very good. It reminds me of Evernote's Android widget actually.

I'm also beta testing Clepsydra which is for timers. I have some other timer app with a widget but I don't care for it much (but it's also meant for you to stop it too). I think the developer here thought this one out a lot better.

If you're interested in joining the beta, here's the post: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1844183/

Can someone suggest a weather widget that supports multiple locations?
I travel a lot for work and I would like to have 3 fixed locations.

Thank you

something like that for viber??

I'm afraid not. I haven't seen such a widget yet that also supports Viber. You could send a request to the developers of these kind of widgets. They are all mentioned in the start topic.

I would advise you to look further into these widgets below. Please ask the developer if it has a feature to show multiple locations in the widget at once. By looking at the App Store descriptions and screenshot i don't think you can't show more then one. Or mabye 'Fine' has that feature, it's free so you could try.

- Weather widget | 0,99 dollar

- Weather Widget (Forecast + Current Weather) | 0,99 dollar

- Fine | Free, in-app purchase 1,99 dollar

- Living Earth | 2,99 dollar

- BeWeather | 2,99 dollar

Kwik Music is free today if anyone cares. It's already mentioned here, but it lets you favorite six songs or albums. I don't really care for the faux vinyl circles, but it's interesting to have on my iPod anyway.

BeWeather has brought its app to the iPad. The widget now has a switcher too (I don't have it setup on mine), so you can have access to multiple cities.

But you can't show multiple cities with weather in the widget at once as someone wanted earlier in this topic?

No, you have to use arrows.

A hack would be to use something like Weather Cal. Make events that last all day, at whichever location you want the weather from.

Wunderground has come up with another app with a widget. I like that they're using badges within it, think that would be interesting to have on the lock screen with a jailbreak tweak.

Sadly there's no weather alerts here at the moment and I can't find a place where all of them are checked. :p.

That weather widget requires ios 7.1. How is that possible, I though widgets required ios8?

----------

And it has audio!
The lock screen part is separate from the widget probably, so in iOS 7 you just get the lock screen part of it, while in iOS 8 you can use both the lock screen part and the widget.
