Nope, I'm in HK.
Spotlight suggestions should be available in Singapore.. hmm..
Definitely not, I checked on Apple's feature availability website. It's not updated for iOS 9 yet though :(

Add the fact that those people somehow just 'forget' to report those bugs on bugreport.apple.com.
I guess some of them just don't know if they could report the bug without registering a developer account.

Playing music in the background definitely uses up more battery than it should; don't remember iOS 8.3 draining this fast while playing music :( On another note, is this considered decent battery life on a first beta? I think I got around 3 1/2 to 4 hours of usage before it dropped to 11%
I tried. Today. And the result is: approximate 4 hours. That is to say, current beta can probably only let devices run four hours in total, whether you use it heavily or not.
However, first beta is often the software focused on implementing features, and functions. Optimisation is often the second step they need to do. Thus, after this beta, we may rarely see new features added into iOS 9 other than those announced in wwdc, but the performance and stability will gradually stand on the ground.
As long as I reply, the battery just drop from 100 to 98 in about 20 minutes.

If you just go to Settings > Passcode, then go to Change Passcode and then select Passcode options, you see this screen which included the 6-digit passcode.

And I have iOS 9 beta 1 installed on an iPhone 5.

You should add "Plays in traffic" to your signature...

Don't know if this was in iOS8 already, but when you go to Settings - General - TouchID and you put your finger on the sensor the corresponding finger will light up (for example 'Finger 1'). Very nice feature :)
Ios 8 already. :)

I just found several small things:

- In contacts your phone number is now showing your avatar
- Option to hide photos in the share screen within Photos.app
- Easier scroll true photos within Photos.app, bar just above the tapbar
- Rounder popups

Anyone elses batteries getting eaten up by messages. Mine is saying messages is using 31% because of background processes. I've gone from 100 to 80 in 2 hours. the ONLY thing I have done is send maybe 20-30 imessages in a conversation.

Hopefully this is assumed in this thread but I always say this around beta season.

I KNOW this is a beta. This is a discussion about a beta.

Yep, its a bit freaky. I've turned off Background Refresh, yet WhatsApp, Spark and FB Messenger all show background activity. I'm not even using FB Messenger, and its still in the battery usage list.

Same with me.. I turned off Background App Refresh but some of the apps shows Background Activity with messages being at 36%!

Can anyone confirm is Proactive there on 4S? Because i don't have one. One of the feature Apple left in A5 devices i think.

So it is possible to directly upgrade from 8.4 beta 3 to 9.0 beta 1. I was searching high and low for this answer. Maybe can do a full wipe?

It's possible to do an upgrade. I did this yesterday. I did a restore anyway in an attempt to fix the keyboard. The keys do not enlarge when pressing a key most of the time. Doing a restore did not fix the problem for me.

It's not on the iPod touch 5 so it's probably not on the A5 devices.

So Apple wasted almost the whole time telling about Proactivity in iOS 9 and it's not there on A5 devices. Great.
There must be some reason. Anyway i think for A5 devices iOS 9 is just a polished version of iOS 8.

There's an option in the keyboard settings for it. I believe it's called show character preview

The keyboard thing you're talking about isn't a bug, it's a feature.

If you go to settings > General > Keyboard > Character Preview ON - It'll enlarge the keys when you press them

It seems that there is a lot of activity going on in my phone because iOS is looking into my mail for phone numbers to show a name as a caller ID. Maybe that is one of the drain issues?

Didn't read through all post sorry for duplicate information, but ipad air +bluetooth keyboard pressing enter on the keyboard now send the message ,until now that was a line break
I saw another poster mention it. Someone else mentioned it gives them a line break. I'd submit a bug report. I have not tested it yet, but I'll try to report back.
