Has anyone noticed that if you open a link in the background in Safari, the animation no longer moves to the bottom right corner (tabs). Instead it moves to the top left.
By design or bug?

I had to swap settings to check (I always use "open in new tab".)

Opening in background has the animation go down to the bottom right for me.

Is it perhaps going to the top left for you because you opened Safari through a different app? (giving you that "back to x" in the top right that replaces the cell signal and carrier name.)

Anyone else having the problem of spotlight search not showing some people's contact info when you type their names in?

Also, selecting/deselecting which spotlight search results you want in settings seems to have no actual effect.

Very weird. I was just about to check that (although I think it did go to the top left in both scenarios), but now it is working correctly, in both scenarios. I can't make it go back up again. Weird.

Funny enough, the file size is also 93.2.

Yeah that's a funny coincidence! Confused me for a moment.

Suggest for those having all these issues just to do a reset as I had a few problem and a reset fixed most of the issues for me.

I did a fresh install and restored from iTunes. I recall per the release note it isn't recommended to restore from iCloud if 2FA is activated. Anyway, after the restore the phone behaved much better than before. I did the reset all settings anyway. Much better than what I went through yesterday and earlier today.

Has anyone else noticed that location based reminders cannot be added anymore? I can only see time based option. This worked fine in previous beta. View attachment 570619

It works fine for me. Maybe try a reset? Are you selecting the Reminder list to add to? Or the scheduled? Because scheduled does not give location option.

I'm not sure if this is new but I've never seen it:

In App Store search results, some results with videos seem to have a different layout:

Also, I noticed when you tap on a search suggestion, you get a back arrow to go back to your previous search:

I have never once seen that "related" section right below the search bar in the App Store app. Not in iOS 7, 8 or 9. Is there some option I'm not seeing somewhere or is the US App Store app different to Canada's? (I know regions see different apps in the store, but the actual App Store app is different?)

One Question, does the iCloud backup issue still exist with this beta?
I experienced an icloud backup bug in beta 3. I can now say in beta 4, it is working. It did take longer than normal for the backup to complete but it is working now (for me).

-- correction, I think you might be talking about a different bug than me. I was just referring to a bug that I was experiencing where icloud couldn't complete a backup in beta 3. Sorry, guess I didn't read through entire thread.

Anybody know if the black background on Reachability is a bug, or if it'll be like that once the GM rolls around?
Before, meaning iOS 8-8.4 if you enabled Reachability the top half of the screen would be a blurred out look of your wallpaper. Now it's just a black image on the top half.
I know it's a small thing but the times I use Reachability it just seems "off" to me. Guess I got used to the blurred wallpaper view.
Thanks to anyone to answers the question.

Seeing how we're seeing what mostly people agree is a bug with the transparency of the bottom bar, I would lean towards the Reachability background also being a bug. I don't see a reason for them to change it.

Anyone having issues with news app ??? I'm on beta 4 and I can't get the App to work
Only problem was on initial launch after doing a Reset All Settings.. it took a couple of minutes to load the content. But it works really well after that.

After a reboot yesterday evening, Proactive Search started working for me. I don't know if it's a glitch or intentional, but Siri Suggestions now shows part of a third row of apps, I guess as a visual cue that there's more info to display.
