Do you have several shared folders. I had the same. A video in a shared folder that was deleted there but still showed as being uploaded. Renamed the shared folder and trouble was over

Has anyone else noticed that Vine does not play videos with this beta? Also, some short videos/gifs in the Twitter app don't play either. I wonder if its an issue with the type of media - short, automatically looping clips

I've been having issues with unlocking on my 6s for the last couple of days. The status bar will be MIA all the way through the unlock animation then take another second to show up once its finished. The device is unresponsive during this time.

Anybody seeing this?

Yep. I notice it every day. Unfortunately iOS has gotten really sloppy over the last couple years, especially with all of the little slipped details like this one.

I drove down to North Myrtle Beach last month and this month. I used Google Maps both times. Once on 8.4.1 and this time on 9.1 Beta 4. Had it running all the way down both times. 24% battery left on 8.4.1 and 64% left this time on 9.1 Beta 4. Both trips were 8 hours.

That's a big difference. Battery has been better for me under 9.1 b4.

Any one experiencing lag on Whatsapp? I have some major lag when typing and navigating in the app.
Yes! The latest version of whatsapp is lagged. I deleted and put on old version before this latest update and it fixed the problem. Glad I had the old version of the app on my 6p. Youre the only one I heard mention this problem. Thought I was alone.

App Thinning was suppose to launch with 9.0 though until that bug came up that delayed it. So i assume that the OS was already able to do that. He said he noticed the thinned sizes when he redownloaded them from the App Store meaning that probably the next time your devices pulls down a new update of apps that have added App Thinning then it will download the device optimized assests.

Also those are all Facebook (owned) apps so it would make sense that if they added App Thinning to one, the others would get it as well.
Hi Bro

I Use iPhone 6S+ I Notice when I transfer the apps (Facebook Messenger) from iTunes (yes, I download it first on iTunes)
It took 110Mb of my space, BUT if I download directly from AppStore, it only took 66Mb ... is that normal?
Apps Thinning only works when you download directly from AppStore?

Since Beta 3 i've been having random issues with Touch ID. When you wake up the phone its not even acknowledged, you don't even get the wiggle of a bad password. Although its not all the time, its those times you really need it ;)

It makes sense. If you're just downloading it to iTunes, the complete app is needed, because it doesn't know what device you're putting it on. When the specific device requests it from the app store, the "thinned" app can be downloaded with only the device-specific files needed.

On my iPhone 6, I've noticed a few things about iOS 9.1 beta 4.
1.) very stuttery control center animation.
2.) very stuttery multitasking switcher.
3.) unlocking phone has lag occasionally.
4.) quick replies not only have a SUPER laggy animation, but often it will hang for at least 10 seconds not allowing me to answer.

When I say lag or stutter, I recognize that the animations are NOWHERE near 60 fps. I have never had this much stutter prior to iOS 9. If I had the choice, I would have gone back to iOS 8 but it's too late :(

I already have these problems with an iPhone 6 on 9.0.2. So, would you say it's better, worse, or the same? The majority of what I've been seeing and hearing about 9.1 is that it's a lot better than the original release of 9. I guess it's just a mixed bag like everything else, though. YMMV and all that...

Id say the multi task switcher is slightly better than iOS 9. But the quick message replies lag is much much worse.

I have the same exact issues with the 6S. Its even worse on the 6S Plus. It's iOS 9 for ALL devices that have these issues. And iOS 9.1 beta 4 hasn't fixed anything yet.

In a way I'm glad it's all devices that way it may mean that they're more likely to be fixed if we all complain haha

Some users on reddit are saying Apple usually fixes performance issues in the final stages of the beta (Beta 5 or GM?). So hopefully we will get a fix soon.

It would make sense to fix crucial bugs in the beginning stages and the aesthetic bugs towards the end. Though I will admit, these aesthetic bugs are very very annoying and important to me that they're being fixed.

Think it's time there should be a post just for LAG every other post weather about battery or beta or anything tunes into a bloody lag post. Really of putting when every other post is about LAG.

Yes it is but when every post on here is automatically getting turned into posts all about lag it's a bit much. Should just have one stickie for it not every other post!

Haha, yes I am too, so happy that lots of iOS 9 devices are lagging, you know that Apple will have to fix at least some things.

Can't tell if sarcasm, but if even the newer iPhones are stuttering, it would make sense they would fix something.
