iMessage issues arent the OS. i see them on ATT from time to time reverting to green texts even on 9.0 and now 9.0.2. Nothing to do with the OS version though.

Is the ability to push the picture in picture video off the edge of the screen new in this release or has it been around a while? Either way, found it by accident just now. There are four positions of the video window at the top and four at the bottom of the screen in landscape mode on my iPad Air 2
Always been there. Was shown onstage at WWDC this year.

I know this has been a suggestion for a very long time, but I never found it actually work that well for me enough to overlook the uglier UI. I enabled reduce transparency after 9.1 b4 update on my 6 plus, and the difference is night and day. I never knew app switcher could be so smooth and fluid... I feel like I got a new phone. I just wish the UI looked better. Keeping it for now.

Don't have time to read through all 8 pages of posts, but I've skimmed and didn't see this.

When I restart my phone, the dock items are all scrambled from where they were. I have to move them back to where they should be. Happens every time and only with the dock items (ie, the music icon moves to the far left and the phone icon moves to the far right and the middle two switch places). Running 6s+.
I could not replicate this. Worked fine on 6S+.

Maybe it will be released today.. :D
next week. they wouldn't release a GM (Beta) seed and then the next day push the final.

plus the new Apple TV requires 9.1 so that puts it in the correct timeline. i predict 9.1 early next week with the new Apple TV launching the week after

I didn't see anyone inquire about the Apple Wallet app... is it still Zoomed in while viewing in "Standard" display mode?

Issue was the Wallet app (opened from Springboard), would show cards zoomed in and be cut off on both sides of display...

Just an annoying bug.

i believe the consensus was that it was fixed in beta 3.

Very buggy so far. Issue still hasn't been fixed on lag. Screen tends to freeze up for a couple of seconds after unlocking the screen.

iMessage essentially looks up whether your phone number is registered as iMessage-capable on Apple's servers, and if so sends messages directly via Apple's system, bypassing the carrier entirely. If it's reverting to SMS, it's almost certainly problem with the app or a problem with Apple's servers.

I know this might not be case for older devices but i upgraded last night on 6s plus and this thing is flying, 9.0.2 was good too but loving this upgrade, battery draining bit fast as i did restore so frequent locations thing is still builidng up.
This might be GM release and hope it improves performance on older devices too. I would rate it 10 out of 10.

I mean no disrespect, but I seriously don't know what you people who experience lag are doing with your phones. My 6s + is smooth as silk. I have no lag in the multitasking switcher, switching portrait/landscape, unlocking and immediately tapping an app. Nothing.
Same here. Not on my 5S or my Air2. Smooth as silk...

Anyone else notice that their 6s Plus on the past couple builds stops updating battery life? Mine will only update again after I reboot or plug the phone in. Example: screenshot of my typing this post at supposedly 88%

If you have a 6S+, then we all understand that your device is fast and there's no need for you to go about claiming so.
