It reminds me of Android Widget lag.**** was persistent until Marshmallow finally fixed it
Jokes aside its unacceptable that my iPhone 6 reminds me of my iPhone 4 at times (which I used up until September of 2014).

Performance on the iPhone 6s Plus has been slightly improved.
- App Switch animation speed is way faster.
- App Switch spaces between apps are larger.
As for battery life, 1 hour and 40 minutes web surfing through apps and social networking, with Power Saving on, it drained from 16% to 1%. Will observe whether there are improvements when fully recharged.
True. They promised better performance and up to an hour's extra battery life. Aside from the hardware on my phone providing extra performance, I see none from iOS and I'm getting less battery life than I did with my old phone too. On the plus side, I do have a ton more useless emojis to scroll through when I'm hunting the few decent ones. How about they just fix the operating system and make everyone happy? cosmetic, under the hood or not, is it metal? who really cares, make it work as good as it did in August and we all be happy... They mentioned better performance.... lets see it or at least make it the same as it was !
It's fixed.Oh, I see it now. Strange, I guess I never really noticed, so it wasn't a big deal to me. Sloppy work, though, hope they fix it by 9.1.1/9.2.

Yes, I'm using iOS 9.2 beta and there's no changes between iOS 9.1 and 9.2. Lag in CC still exist on iPhone 5s, 6 and 6S. They did nothing in this case. Overall performance is poor on iPhone 6. I think this is a sign to get new one. Sorry, I'm disappointedThe real question here is DOES CONTROL CENTER STILL LAG?
No lag on mine so not so.... It may excist for certain users and may not excist for others. So can't say it will be same for all.Yes, I'm using iOS 9.2 beta and there's no changes between iOS 9.1 and 9.2. Lag in CC still exist on iPhone 5s, 6 and 6S. They did nothing in this case. Know what posts really get me? The ones that go something like this (and there's been a few):
"Open a folder, twirl your device twice anti clockwise, double tap the home button, twirl your device clockwise three times, triple tap the home button, throw your phone in the air like you just don't care, go back to the folder, tap the home button ... SEE IT!? SEE THAT LAG!?! UNACCEPTABLE!!!"
Give me strength.
LOL.They can forget getting my money if they don't fix these 2 pain points.I already plonked 700 dollars on my Air 2 only watch it stutter in just one year.Besides Nexus 6P and Galaxy S6 edge don't lag so why should I pay more for lessYes, I'm using iOS 9.2 beta and there's no changes between iOS 9.1 and 9.2. Can I just say everyone's experience is going to be different. Your all taking this lag way to over the top..... If you ain't happy go to android it's lag freeLOL.They can forget getting my money if they don't fix these 2 pain points.I already plonked 700 dollars on my Air 2 only watch it stutter in just one year.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't have to do any of that, and still get lag just when using the App Switcher, or exiting an app. If you don't have lag, great, I'm happy for you, but there are plenty of users who has it. No need to be a smart ass.

I don't know mate . I think some people are suffering but others are not. It's just a bit over top when it's on every post on here lol.Is it possible some people are mistaking the little "bounce" at the end of the CC animation for lag?

I have noticed when I open weather app that my wallpaper kinda shows like a water mark behind weather for about 2 seconds though. (This is the stuff that bothers me) the lag here neither here nor there. iOS 9.2 is running absolutely fine on my device. But it will run different with everyone as we all have different things one and run our devices different.
I am invested in Android,iOS and Windows 10 mobile.Bulk of my purchases are on the App Store so the iPhone and iPad will continue to stick around, just won't be my daily drivers. That spot (unless Apple fixes the lag) is reserved for Nexus 6P or Galaxy S7Can I just say everyone's experience is going to be different. Judging from your post you've got 6S.Yes, I'm using iOS 9.2 beta and there's no changes between iOS 9.1 and 9.2. Lag in CC still exist on iPhone 5s, 6 and 6S. They did nothing in this case. Overall performance is poor on iPhone 6. I think this is a sign to get new one. Sorry, I'm disappointed
Yepah they do that lol i got slammed for a video because I recorded it and it was not light enough lolYeah, on 9.0 there was lag which did detract from the user experience, namely the zooming in/out animations when opening/closing apps ... there would be this little stutter near the end of the transition which would catch your eye. On 9.1 it's completely gone, so it's all good.
I recorded a 60fps video of my Air 2 on 9.1 beta 5 and someone must have sat there and slow motion, frame by frame viewed it because they managed to notice one little bit of stutter I hadn't seen during recording. Turned out it was when returning to the home screen from the App Switcher and that one instance was used to invalidate the smoothness in every other area of the video.
