Anybody having performance issues with iOS 9 I highly suggest you do a fresh install, set up as new iPhone THEN restore backup. The difference is amazing and I can't believe it took me so long with horrible performance to try that. After I did that I have iOS 8 smoothness back!
How about a fresh install and no backup?:p

El Capitan Dev Beta 7 available .......already downloading ....

There is hope for iOS 9 Beta 6 .....

El Capitan DP 7 and PB 5 has been out a few days already. They were released last Wednesday. With no new iOS 9 builds that followed the El Capitan DP 7 and PB 5, it only makes it more likely we're on the last builds for iOS 9 till GM.

Doing a fresh install compared to just updating is largely the same on my iPhone 6. Still seeing the app opening delay sometimes and the multitasking switcher still lags when entering an app.
That's too bad. I stopped seeing that after a fresh install on both my 6 and 6 Plus.

It's looking like the next release will be the GM. I'd guess the only reason there was a new El Capitan beta last week is because it won't be out till October (like Yosemite, Mountain Lion, etc.) while iOS 9 will be out next month.

Today will be the last day for the next beta if there is to be one. If it doesn't happen today then I think it's safe to say this thread can be closed. T-minus 1 hour and 37 minutes.

There's always tomorrow and Thursday.

true ... but we can say this all the way up to the keynote. realistically i would be willing to bet that if it doesn't happen today its not happening.
Well, I guess I'm not seeing that much of a difference between today and tomorrow, that's what I was basically saying. Might be essentially that if it doesn't happen this week then it's basically more than likely not to happen (even if this week itself isn't all that likely already).

So if not today GM is fix for 9.9 Keynote but i don't think Apple will let us on this beta(public beta testers have problems and I think one last beta!).

Does the iOS GM usually ship out on the day of the event? I don't think 2 weeks is that short a time for a new beta. I seem to remember iOS shipping out a few days after the event, although I honestly don´t really remember. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

The golden master version of an iOS update is usually seeded to developers straight after the keynote.

Usually the day of the event (sometime after the event). As for betas, usually the last one is around for longer than a few weeks.

Apple released Xcode 7 beta 6 yesterday to developers, yet no beta 6 for iOS 9.

I think that means that there is no beta 6 for iOS 9 since Apple releases Xcode betas and iOS betas at the same time if I'm not mistaken.
