Oh well... I guess that's it then, ios 9 will be just another ios 8. I doubt they can fix all the existing problems in the GM.:(
Or even in a .4 release.

iOS 8 was one big bug. And 9 is shaping up pretty well to eclipse it by more and more bugs.

I made the mistake of not backing up iOS 8 to my Mac before I updated. Rookie mistake.
I backed up on 8.4 but then 8.4.1 came out so I don't believe I can downgrade and use that back up. If I'm incorrect can someone please let me know.

You certainly could use that backup. First dfu to 8.41 and then restore your 8.4 backup and done!

Keep in mind that OSX 10.11 El Capitan beta 7 was released at 1PM.

We will see what's going to happen, my opinion there won't be a beta 6 don't know why but that's my feelings about it.

I hope it comes in because this beta while better than others - could use another beta to squash some bugs and performance until GM arrives.

Yeah, it's hard to see the point after 5. My thinking is the GM will iron out whatever's (and there can't be much) left.

Aww I was really hoping for DP6 today, the battery drain is pretty bad on DP5 with my 5s, even when just listening to music in Low Power Mode.

Can you explain this issue more?

Jeff

I found a thread with the same issues regarding ebooks and a few posts of others having the same issues. If you check your entire music library (6000 songs for me), it'll sync everything, then just as it finishes sync, the music app wipes all the music and you're presented with the "Never miss a beat" screen like you don't own any music.

IOS 9 Beta 5 is working really well for me on my 6plus. I would say much better than any IOS 8 versions that i have tried till date. Battery seems to be amazing even after an year with this phone.

I would agree with both the above posts on performance! However though the pesky "Back to App Title" bug & a sudden hang under certain circumstances (which can be alleviated) still bother me quite a bit!

I did a restore and restored my iPhone 6 Plus backup on my iPhone 6. The performance is so much better on the iPhone 6! Wow.

Probably some app you are using is bugged with iOS 9, I did a clean install and the battery is way better than iOS 8 on my iPhone 6 Plus

I guess this will be another of Cook's failed releases as he puts greater emphasis on deadlines and gaudy design for the Chinese market, rather than quality. No wonder they already have 9.1 in sight.

What are you on about? With beta's Apple have no schedule to adhere to.

iOS 9 WILL be ready so stop complaining.

And of course they're working on 9.1. You think they simply work on one update? *sighs*
