I'd be surprised if we didn't see at least one more Beta, especially given the focus is on optimization and performance this time, you'd think Apple would want to test the new software as much as possible.

Then again, like last year Beta 6 might just go to carrier partners. We'll know in 50 minutes

I dont think you will see one. You have to realize with rumored new devices coming they have to install the OS on millions of devices and then ship the devices. Thats not a fast process. So 30-60 days would be a fair time frame to the ship date. Now I am sure they are on a newer build then what is beta 5 but I am also pretty sure that build at this point would be a GM build. I remember last year with Beta 8 I was wondering if I missed something because it went weeks without a new build.

With Mac OS the chances are even if there are new models they probably wont require the new OS so they have a little more time. Plus the volume is not as much as iOS devices.

Just going to be a long wait and then a LONG download time with everyone grabbing the GM at once on Sept 9.

Overall though, I am VERY happy with iOS 9. Fixed a lot of the iOS 8 issues. And Watch OS is a lot better too.

I think my phone may spontaneously combust before Sept 9 due to the battery issue;(. I am probably damaging the battery and reducing the life of the phone. If it was colder weather I could use it as a personal heater.

I hope there is one last release so that the beta is at least usable on my 6 Plus until the final release in 20 days.

...and we know how it worked well for the disastrous iOS 8 launch, don't we? lol

Honestly not expecting one today, though I could be wrong. The performance on my 6 is amazing, and I have no major issues with it at all. On my iPad Air, there are only a few issues that nag me, but they could be due to apps not being developed for 9 GM, so who knows.

In any case, even if we don't see one today, or another until GM, I'm perfectly okay with it.

Could not agree more. My 5s is almost unusable. Heats up so bad and the battery....don't get me started. Worst I have ever seen. Need another beta so bad.

I hate that everything about iOS9 is so stable bar this annoying iTunes bug. Please let me sync my entire library! At the moment I can sync about 900 then everything disappears

Strange. I haven't had a single problem on my 6 Plus running beta 5. Battery and performance are better than 8.4

I'm 95% there. I see problems with Spotlight still. It works but every few days it will cause a respring and its almost always lagging when it opens.

Hoping for another release today, same problem on my iPhone 6, heating up and really awful battery.
This really just proves that no two devices are the same. My iPhone 6 has better battery life and better performance than 8.4. My iPhone 6 has not gotten any hotter than normal, even after gaming for an hour or two.

Oh well... I guess that's it then, ios 9 will be just another ios 8. I doubt they can fix all the existing problems in the GM.:(
