I wouldn't hold your breath on that. I'm on Rogers also and they flat out lied a year ago about it. Rogers publicly said they were going to bring wifi calling when iOS 8 got released. Well, it's a year later and iOS 9 is soon to be out and we still have no wifi calling.

I know, it just makes me sad :( We can't get any of the nice things.. Apple Pay, VoLTE, wifi calling.. At least Roam Like Home serves half my need for wifi calling (free* calls while in the US)

There won't be a new beta. They have to build the GM before the iPhone 6s production starts, and it's just a matter of days now.
Don't they have beta builds that are like one or two iterations ahead always than what's posted to developers?

I really doubt Beta 6 is coming today, but I would love to be surprised and wrong! I think next week is a safer bet, but who really knows. They COULD put it out at 2 am tonight if they wanted to.

Nah, I remember from many other years where I've participated in DPs that the GM comes just about 1 week before final release.

There should be another Beta, then GM candidates.

And how long before that was the last beta released before that GM in those circumstances?

I seem to recall 3 weeks between last beta and GM.

I believe GM should be out sometime in the 1st week of September. The announcement of a new iPhone around the ~10th, and it's subsequent order online and purchase in store starting around the ~20th of September.

It's standard Apple.

EDIT: Oh, and iOS9 release to the general public around 6-7 days before orders online and in store purchases... so like ~12th or something... Standard Apple stuff...

The last betas before the GM for iOS 8 and iOS 7 seemed to be around for about 4 weeks or even longer.

Standard Apple is to release the GM when the phone is announced, not before.

Well, I'm using my memory here. You could be right.

I remember getting GMs around 5 days before announcement... maybe I'm wrong and my memory is failing me.

Using history as an indicator, we should expect the following

9/9 - Apple event, new iPhones, iOS 9 GM released to devs, Apple allows app submissions for iOS 9 enabled apps.
9/11 - preorders for the new iPhones, if they are doing it this year.
9/16 - iOS 9 goes live to public.
9/18 - new iPhones officially go on sale.

iOS 9 beta release schedule:

Beta 2 - Tue, 6/23
Beta 3 - Wed, 7/8
Beta 4 - Tue, 7/21
Beta 5 - Thu, 8/6
Beta 6 - ???
iOS 9 GM - Wed, 9/9
iOS 9.0 - Wed, 9/16

Based on what we know above, I think there might be a beta 6 this week, just not sure it's today.

Informative, even if without any actual information.

That's exactly what all of us are doing here, isn't it: pretending we know more?

At least I'm being logical and playing with the data we have, not pouring poor assumptions over the thread, like most people do.

Not all of us are doing that. Some of us know that we don't really know more and say so.
