Oh gee~ despite everyone uploading their screenshot to demonstrate the exact same alert message,
it's fun to guess people's personalities based on home screen organisation ;)

Any IT person can relate I am sure :) When some dumbass sends an email to huge list CC and about 150 people reply "please take me off this email", "me too", "unsubscribe". yeah, we get it. and you are just adding to the problem melting the server. STOP. Like what is going through your brain when you reply to all as well?

EVERYONE who is on iOS 9 beta will get the pop up, no need to keep posting screen shots.

It happened when the date changed to the 6th (by manually changing it or not.) It seems like it pops up again once you get to the 7th. I bet you'll see again on the 8th, and 9th. It is just an error on Apple that it is popping up, it means nothing except maybe prove that GM can/will be OTA this time.

No no no, at least those aren't identical and you kinda spent half a day reading those, struggling to stay still on your desk.

These screenshots are just ART.

True. If you move the date forward on your iPhone, the pop up will still show up, but no OTA updates.

Mark.

Went back to 8.4.1 on Saturday and did not get that message. :( I will install it again now, just to post a screenshot! :p
Wishing I can go back to 8.4. I went to the public beta without backing up and cant go back
Im a little worried as to what will happen with Notes as I use that app heavily and want to keep what is stored in ios 8. Not sure how thats going to work out.
I have changed my apple ID on the device running PB 9 so maybe I wont be screwed lol

I had the same message pop up about 10 hours ago on iPhone 5 developer beta, no I did not change the date, just general use and it also appeared on my iPad Air with dev beta shortly after.

Just popped up for me, 3 minutes ago on the strike of midnight. How odd. Wonder why this is happening. Why is the OS foreshadowing the GM?

Wow, this thread is a bit silly. The betas have always had an expiry date built it, this is just a warning for it. In years previous, people have tried to guess beta release dates based on the expiry. We'll get GM soon, prior to the expiry kicking in properly.

So I was messing around with the date on my phone and I noticed a weird pop up about beta iOS 9 appear but I dismissed it by accident before reading it. So I tried the same thing on my iPad and got the attached pop up. Anybody else seeing this? Does it mean that the GM may be coming tomorrow??!! I've never seen this in betas before.

Try this on your iOS 9 beta 5 device and let me know if you see it.

What do you guys make of this?

Date: Monday, 7th Sept, at 12:00 am, I got this message appear. I checked the software update in settings. Nothing. What's going on? I didn't do at messing around with date and time settings either.

I dont understand how people post the same screenshot 8 pages long and did not understand that it was triggered by time, hard coded, maby some test for future ios Update alerts and was not supposed to happen before ios9 GM at the keynote on wednesday.

Sometimes i wish people would read previous comments before posting the same things on and on.

You don't need to mess with the date for it to happen. It just needs to be whatever day. Also it happened on the 6th and again 7th (as different time zones are hitting the 7th.) I bet people will get it on the 8th as well, and the 9th (when the GM should be coming out)

As I unlocked my iphone today Sunday "i also got a popup about update of ios 9 being available. Strangely I had my phone on airplane mode without reception for the last 2 days. Like others, there was no update available ones I checked in settings.
