I know it's not gonna happen and I've been saying it for years, but Apple needs to buy Cydia and legitimize the theme makers and other developers there and incorporate it all into a new iOS release.

Being one of (lucky?) ones that have little to no problems on iOS 8 (aside from Safari sporadically reloading pages), off the top of my head the one feature I would most like to see added to iOS 9 would be the inclusion of smart mailboxes to the Mail.app., i.e. the ones created on OS X to be carried over to iOS.

I'm not even sure if it would be actually possible, but a guy can dream, right?

here we have what most users want
Haha sorry but that's the most unnecessary comment ever. Macrumors users are not even 0.5% of the iPhone users.

And apple shouldn't listen to all points, because then we would have a second android OS.

I just sold my iPhone 6 plus and got a note 4 simply because I can utilize the larger screen better with the note 4 than I could with the iPhone 6 plus.

The iPhone 6 plus is probably the best phone I ever had , but software lacked a lot imo. I also sold my iPad air for the surface pro 3.

I would buy the new iPhone when it comes out in an instant if the software included:

Apps draw - I don't just want a wall of apps, I want my most used apps on the first page or two, the rest hidden until I need them. My phone just looked cluttered full of folders upon folders.

Widgets done right - having them in the notifications panel for me was redundant. I like them more in android because I can simply flick past them, not drag down the notification panel and scroll to the one I want. Let them me out on the home screens if I choose them to be. And give developers more options to show the information in a visual pleasing and interactive way.

Multitasking - you have large screens and powerful devices, let me use that screen size and power with split screens apps and real multitasking. If Samsung can do it, and sure apple can do it in an even better way.

The iPhone homescreen is like a customizable app drawer. If you want your most used apps on one page then you can move them to one. The only thing is that they're automatically sent to the top of the screen.

Cydia will not be bought out by Apple. If Apple bought them, they would crush them like a bug. It would be nice for Apple to put different things into iOS but, they to me are not willing to coroperate.

Bring Glances to the iOS. The most natural way is IMO making the Today view multi-pageable.

Different colours in iMessage. So I can see install who I'm texting. Like in reminders etc that way I don't acidently text the wrong person. Different message bubble colours

Diffferent battery modes

As i'm typing this, I am using my Windows 7 laptop. It features 3 different power modes. They are

High Performance
Ballenced
Power saver

Imagine these being built into iOS 9! If you needed a quick phone and, had a charger nearby, you could togggle high preformance mode.

Ballenced would be the deafault

Finally, power saver would be used when you are nowhere near a outlet! :D

In my experience she has improved. Sometimes I've took a second look at her with a 'huh you understood me perfect, cool girl, cool'

I'm happy for you, but for me she understands only the most basic stuff like "how hot will it get today?" or basic lookup stuff.

Where is Bavarian Motorsport's headquarters? Definitely not in Revere Massachusetts lol :D . The location it named is not even a car dealership; it is a Auto repair shop supposidly! It even says Barbarian Motorsports! There is a lot of work that needs to be done with Siri. :p

Note, I cheated a little. However, Siri should recognize the mistake and should not tell it's location is on the beach! Either Greenwich North Carolinia (BMW USA HQ) or Bavaria Germany (Main HQ) would be the correct answer!

Actually I don't know if it is possible

But I'd like Siri to be able to use multiple languages at the same time

I mean, I use different languages with different persons, but since Siri is set to English, I cannot send a message in, say, french. Or atleast I don't know how to do it

You can't use Siri. But you can dictate. Just add the keyboards in the languages you want and press the dictate button. Not the same thing but works great in the car.

Just 1, really.
Exchange servers will start reliably working with Calendar and Mail apps.

I feel you man

iOS 6 iPhone 4S and iPod Touch 4th generation--> Exchange server work flawlessly. Beautiful and changes any calendar's color automatically from the iCloud website to my 4S and iPod Touch 4th gen:D

iPad Air 7.1.2. Calender colors do not sync with exchange server  Am stuck with a hot pink that will not change to another custom color (was a prank by my friend:p ):(

iPad 2 iOS 8.2 (Same problem as 7.1.2)

What is everyone's huge problem with the music app? I like it.

Can no longer choose how the songs list is sorted.
Editing the list is a pain cause half the time your swipe is read as a tap and the song plays
Every time you go into it the app checks for Internet access as if it assumes ypu want to use iTunes radio or iTunes Match even if you are playing local music with 'show all' turned off.
Music videos ended up back in Music rather than in Videos where it makes more sense.
When you are playing with the screen locked there's an intermittent bug where the screen stops updating what the current song playing is and the controls freeze up.

----------

I want to have multiple users like on OS X, so I can have one user set up with my e-mail, address book, etc, and another user set up with games for my kids that doesn't have access to my e-mail etc.

Or how about just being able to save Restriction settings (and have them include all apps including third party) and activate with a preset gesture, triple home or even a passcode or finger. That way if your kid picks up the phone and thumbs in, it does to the restricted mode. You do it and it's open.

----------

yes, extensions to safari would be amazing.

There are few extensions that can't already be created that the general public would need. Save one. Adblock with or in addition to some kind of pop up blocker for that jackass virus etc crap. My mother got one of those on her iPad and idiot called it. Thankfully they had no idea that by computer she meant iPad and she got so confused and frustrated trying to follow their instructions that she hung up. Before they asked for money.
