Am I reading this right? 9 will make things 'just work' again. So, older devices will not suffer from this but run better than they did on 8. This is my wish.
Any MR folks running 9 yet? I bet we have some Apple employees here that have 9 running, right?

Just saw this in my app analytics:

1. iPhone8,1
2. iOS 9.0 (and 8.4)

😱

Interesting, so they are naming the 4,7" model now iphone8,1 opposed to the currently used iphone7,2.

(iPhone 6 is iphone7,2 and iPhone 6 Plus is iphone7,1 - for those who don't know^^)

Apparently, Apple employees are required to delete their accounts, and I f they do have accounts, there is probably a NDA.

Just out of curiosity. Is 8.4 rumored to be the music streaming service overhaul? If so, what is 8.3 brining? Because I thought 8.2 was for the Apple Watch.

8.2 intigrates the Apple Watch
8.3 brings "diverse emojii keyboard" with different skin tones

8.3 brings also more languages for Siri!

What is 'Morning View"?

Wow! A dot upgrade just for the Emoji's?

Yes and no. 8.3 had the emojii keyboard overhauled with a stock load of new emojiis. 🙂 There is now multiple skins for face emojiis. And finally, a couple of emojiis were overhauled completely. The prayer hand emojii that I am holding down on the left bottom picture has been changed to take out the rays of lights. This is a extremely controversial emoji change. :apple:

Overall with this new keyboard, if you hold down a emoji, you will get different skin colors to that emoji!😉

Not to be rude, but I'm not remotely excited about this. I never once needed this. Maybe some did, good for them. All that I care about are bug fixes.

It's fine, I do not care either. There is a reason I am still on 7.1.2 lol 😉! we are on the same boat and, want bug fixes (not to break iOS 8 even more🙄)!

I basically want "Snow Leopard" iOS but there are two Android features that I want badly: (1) Wi-Fi priority: avoid slow or unreliable Wi-Fi connections and (2) multi-user account: I actually don't want multi users, but I would love my iPhone to switch from work mode to home mode depending on the location (as well as manually toggling).

Music:
- Play next / Play Last
- Grid View (optional)
- Option to disable playing next artist album
- Option to sort artist-albums by year
- Better shuffle mechanism.
A lot could be accomplished by adding tap and hold to artist/albums/genres/songs/ect

Phone: (voicemail is way out of date)
- Contact group Managment
- Block unknown numbers
- Voicmail speech to text dictation
- Send Voicmail via share menu
- Voicmail folders for archiving
- Per contact / Per group Voicemail greetings
- Smart Voicemail Greetings
- Purchasable voicemail greetings on iTunes
- Call recording
- In call forwarding
- Grid view for favorites
- Incoming outgoing call log filtering
- Integrate FaceTime calls
- Get rid of the FaceTime and contacts apps

Maps:
- Street view
- Transit
- Off-line maps

Apple Pay / Passbook:
- Customer loyalty cards / coupons
- Receipt
- Transit passes
- Identification

Safari:
- A quick way to close all open tabs.

IOS General:
- Control center customization (including toggles)
- Voice to text on third-party keyboards
- Ability to hide or remove Default applications
- Why can't I have to date on the status bar on an iPhone 6 Plus?
- A cleaned up settings app.
- "Hey Siri" need some sort of voice recognition
- Set default apps.
- A preview /browser app that works with iCloud and files saved by apps... With share menu access.
- Dark mode

Apple TV:
- A completely redesigned UI
- A new remote app... Everything from the AppleTV should be mirrored in someway to the remote app... I should be able to control my Apple TV by just looking at my phone and not the TV.
- Handoff... This would be much better than airplay for a lot of conditions
- Some sort of cable competition

IPad:
- Mouse support
- Windowed app mode
- Some basic iPhone functions such as calculator and weather that Apple doesn't feel that we need on an iPad for whatever reason :/

I would like app-specific keyboard settings, ie, when I'm in Whatsapp my keyboard is set to Spanish, but when I'm in Twitter it's the English keyboard. Better yet, that apps remember which keyboard I was using last time.
