Same situation, i've been on the list at the West 14th St (aka Meatpacking) Apple story in NYC for 32gb/3g since 5/5 and no word yet. Just called them to try to wrangle some info and they wouldn't give me anything. Couldnt even confirm I was on the list....argh.

Screw this, I'm gonna head home, came to the apple store early to see if they had any morning shipments. Gonna come back later, lady said "call between 1 and 3pm." screw work today I want my ****ing iPad >.<
Reserved a 32 3G from the Stanford Palo Alto store May 6th and nothing yet. Reserved a 32 3G from the SF flagship store May 8th and nothing. Hate it when a see the light blink and its a Viagra add or a work email lol.
I have noticed that the area ranging from DC to NYC are not receiving anything (or not much at least).
I am still waiting for the bestbuy in potomac yard to receive more.
Tomorrow is exactly 2 weeks from the launch day so it should to be here soon.

Idk about that. Been waiting since Sunday, and they told me then the latest would be friday. So we'll see if I get a magical and revolutionary email tomorrow...
wow seems the wait on the reserve list is much longer now....when I got my Wifi I put the reservation in on Saturday afternoon monday was a holiday and I got the email on tuesday. Apple can't make these things fast enough!
I think it varies a lot by which model and which capacity you choose. I would assume the 3G is in the highest demand now as it just came out and everyone is still trying to get one, while the Wifi one came out before, giving people more time to pick one up.
which MA store did you reserve at? I got mine at the Peabody store. I've been to peabody, cambridge and burlington numerous times in the past week looking for a flipping camera kit.
I went to Braintree, because I'm from the south shore. Didn't see the camera kit there though. Plenty of docks though! haha.
Any particular reason why folks are not just ordering from the apple store? Delivery to home is not good - ?
I went because I figured it would be faster. So far it's been a mixed bag. It's been 5 days and no email yet, but on Sunday according to apple.com online orders shipped in 5-7 days. So we'll see which ends up being faster.
All this delay on the 3G makes pretty glad I got the wifi to enjoy for 5 weeks. I plan to give my 16gb wifi to my wife...and go all out on the 3G as I have benefited from a new freedom. But I sure am eager for the 3G model! I am tired of calling bb 2x a day!
I just want to find out somewhere that has them all of a sudden and satisfy my "i want it now" urge immediately. Sadly, I'm serious.
Apple stores here in Vegas seems to have a decent stock. I go to either of the 3 stores in the area and they are always selling ipads when im there. The only issue I've had is that, it's hard to get your hands on the camera kit. So I finally gave up yesterday and bought 1 off of ebay, it'll be here Saturday!

If anyone lives anywhere near Louisville, KY I think our Apple store at Oxmoor Mall has tons. I went in last Saturday and just picked mine WIFI only model up with no questions asked. I've been in a couple times since and have seen other folks buying WIFI only iPads with no problem.

I just purchased a 64GB 3G from the apple online store, figured it's a better way to go than living on a prayer waiting for stores in NJ to get them. Called 4 stores in my area, nobody has them.
Wait online is 7-10 days hopefully it wont be that long but I think its a better way to go than stores right now.
EDIT : Well I just recieved order confirmation and the projected ship date is May 28th........I wonder if any stores would have them in stock by then any chance...

I'm in Vegas too, but have yet to find any 3G iPads available in Apple Stores locally. I reserved mine (32gb/3G) at the Town Square Store last Saturday afternoon (May 8th) via the "Notify Me" list with no word yet. Sneaking up on a week...growing more anxious...hands are sweating....body is shaking...having fits of anger....ya know...most of you are there too
