iPad IPad Air 2020 - Pre-Order/Shipping/Order Status/Delivery Thread

Yeah, I never doubted that. If they were being shipped from China they would have had to have shipped pretty much immediately after pre-order to arrive by this Friday.
I am late to the band wagon on ordering a replacement ipad air.... right now my store says 'unavailable for pickup' for any of the airs, or ship with delivery 11/11 at the soonest. If I keep checking, especially tonight, is there a chance that I could buy one and get a pickup tomorrow/Saturday/Sunday? Or is it likely that all of those pickup slots went to people who pre-ordered earlier? Many thanks!
Mine, as per UPS tracking, has had its arrival scan at the local hub. Looks like it’s on schedule!
There's a chance for anything to happen. You'll more than likely have to wait though.
my order charged my Apple credit card, went to preparing for shipping since yesterday afternoon. My order wasn’t due to arrive until 11-3 to 11-5.
That's what mine was saying for most of the day until a couple of hours ago. It likely means that UPS has it, but hasn't scanned it into the system yet. If the scheduled delivery still says tomorrow you should be fine.
My order from Apple is preparing to ship with a delivery date of Nov. 5 - 9. I’m thinking this date will be moved up once it ships. Anyone agree?

I had thought so.... I did order one so at least I know it will come eventually!Is it possible to pickup a preorder tomorrow morning when the store opens if your check-in window is on Sunday? Just got a Ready for Pickup e-mail.
I don’t mean to be mean but come on bro take a step back and think about your question... If everyone tried to do that it would be straight pandemonium at the Apple store. There’s a reason why they give pickup dates and pickup time windows. Reread your email, it’s not a “ready for pick up email”, your email says your order will be ready for pickup at your DESIGNATED AND PREARRANGED pickup window
You are right. I was just curious. COVID numbers are extremely low here but it’s definitely not allowed if Apple is following protocol.
Mine is arriving tomorrow. Wish they were using Fedex. UPS is sort of pain here, they don’t come or ring the doorbell unless you leave a note, they just leave a slip telling you to go to some far away location to pi it up. I have chemo treatment tomorrow so hoping the note on the door gets read.

I would try...I mean it's ready now, why wait until Sunday? I would though wait to go at a time where it will probably be least busy...like close to close or something. Or you can try to call the store and ask. The pickup instructions even say if you arrive before or after the window, you "may experience an extended wait time..." not that you'll be turned away.
